Room looks good. I hate that dude did you like that. Scammers are everywhere.
dude it's 60 thousand lol .......... if they only mentioned the (thousands) once everything would be much easier ...... also it's not a scam we iraqis pay the same prices at the airport, just like any other airport around the world. Transportaions is always expensive around the airports.
Stupid currencies, every time I travel abroad I have the same issues.
Taxi from airports are expansive especially in Iraq because they pay at the gate to enter the airport, and for the hotel for a $100 I will get a better hotel in Baghdad
its not expensive in America 100 dollars.
He never learned his lesson. Brother you need exchange your money at airport. No more confusion
ALL LOVE
Bro how you go to a country and not know their currency, when they says 60 it means 60,000 iraqi dinars which is 45 USD. Iraq is a country with a strong currency you aren't in south East Asia
👍👏👏
I've had the same problem when didn't change into their money. Their isn't a universal standard. But some that are very nice are wonderful people

Airport taxis are expensive it's normal here unless u sit in a big car with 5 more people then u can pay around 7$ instead of 40$
A tip from your moroccan follower. You need to negotiate or at leastask the drivers how much it costs before you arrive to your destination
Exactly i did the same in Somalia
Prices are tagged 50 dollar is the airport taxi ... how much in Morroco you charge?
@@salmandirir Somalia is a poor desert country with poor old taxis and a small airport.. you can't compare a prosperous country like Iraq with a shithole like Somalia! ... plus the distance between Baghdad international airport and Baghdad city is 50km

yeah you also represent all black people to alot of them so want bro to know that and be sharper in a modest way ofcourse

Taxi from the airport is 10 times more expensive. Drivers must pay airport fees. You should know this. Even in England taking a taxi from the airport is much more expensive.
You should find out the exchange rate before dropping into these places Baba!
They say 60 but they mean 60k Iraqi because they nothing is meaning in hundreds it's in thousands so they not use to saying 1000s
I exchange into local currency at airports before i leave. I also sleep well before touch down. I pay more so i can just get to my room.
Why you didn’t visit the north of iraq
How much time did it take to get from airport to the hotel?
As a comparison,
20 minute taxi = $50
1 night in that room = $50

@@HughJass-313 USD might be high there for that route. I was in Cancun Mexico and got picked up at airport by Airbnb host, going from between hotel zone and downtown Cancun hotel/resort I was quoted 50usd, in 2022 Feb and I got some staff to hook me up 3am pick up to airport firm quote of 30.00 , his car had all kinds of red lights, fuel, oil, maybe coolant, and he drove fast so I could make my 7am wheels up. No cars on the road at 3 am, but I confess, he must have been doing 45, 50 mph and seemed to me like 30-45 minutes. When we arrived he got the flat thirty, no tip. I guess I did get a deal.
@@HughJass-313 It Is the normal price because It’s an airport Taxi and they have a fee but the normal taxi In street are cheap like the highest price Inside any city Is less than 10$
@@HughJass-313and hotels are expensive because there Is not much hotels In the city because most people form other cities go to their friends houses not hotels also he chose a little expensive one
Usually a hotel room Is like 30-40$ but they didn’t scam him he had a Reservation through the app so there Is no scam everything Is usual about the taxi and the hotel Is he wanted to save money he should have get a taxi outside the airport not inside the airport and about the hotel he should have taken a hotel room that costs like 40$ this way he would have paid 50$ instead of 100$
It’s not anyone fault man he just didn’t search and ask enough to get the information
Bruva, thats the fee. We iraqis we pay the same fee when we visit back home. He meant 60000 iraqi dinars but he kept saying 60. Peace and love my bruda.
Better to check out the exchange rate before you leave.home.
He didn't scam you...this is the amount from inside the airport to the city and this is what we pay as Iraqis too
u didn’t get scammed bro when i went to iraq that’s actually how much it cost me 49 dollars
there is a tip for the travelers at the end of the comment....
bro is right u got scammed but not from the driver but from the iraqi government it's not only u even the iraqi people pay the same it's something like taxes in UK lol so to be detailed : that's taxi thing in the airport is run by the government and the do this something like skimming and they devide it between the taxi company and some rolling party in the government it's like a contract .
Note the advice : if you are on low budget and u wanna jump in to the country like any local and pay the minimum.... here is the catch once u reach Airport u go down to the taxi stand u v to pay around 15k iraqi dinner ( 10-15 usd ) sharing taxi just to go out to the taxi yard outside the airport don't take taxi from there coz they are the same people who charged ya a lot inside the airport u v to jump walking a bit if u don't v too much weight with ya lol then find any taxi on the main road wave to the cars they ll stop for ya use google translate make sure to negotiate the process before u jump in and even if u go 2h distance u ll be charged max 10 - 20k iqd (7- 15 usd) make it totall around 25-40 usd best of luck hope u won't end up paying the same 😂
With all do respect could you please use the legit iraqi flag not the Saddam Hussain era one
That is the "real" iraqi flag.
Iraq was once great only under that flag
Bro You mistrust the driver. The taxi from the airport goes. The taxi company takes us from the airport to Baghdad at the same price that the driver told you, but he does not pronounce the price is correct. He did not deceive the you. The fees is 50 or 60 $
I Can't Believe a taxi car 60$ wallahi Too much 😳😳😳😳😳

Actually it's the fee 60000 Iraqi dinar almost 35-40$ even for Iraqis
