No, I tried it alot. The GK usually just gets the ball in his hand even though I have 5 star strikers and 4 and half star full attack coach. Manually aiming is way better.

Retro goal is not like Retro bowl. The only way you can build a team is build your team foundation, your farm system and the size of your stadium so you can sell more tix and make more money to sign better players.. You simply can't just sign players to sign them, what happens is sure you you'll win games.. But then your tix sales are lack luster cause your stadium sucks and your revenue blows. And you only earn the cash for homes games, you get squat for road games. Next thing you know that forward you signed for what you thought wasn't crazy in terms of price tag, his one year deal now you can't afford to keep him longer and you lose him for nothing.. You have to crazy save your money, sign cheap players with longer deals and hope you develop some studs that are cheap...
