"Wow, this whipped shea and cocoa body butter looks amazing! 🌿 The texture is so fluffy and luxurious-it must feel incredible on the skin. Definitely trying this out for some natural winter skincare! Thanks for sharing such a detailed recipe! 🙌✨"
So glad this showed up on my home page. You mentioned you store it in the refrigerator. What is the shelf life outside the fridge? I’d like to add that to the gift tag especially if it needs to be refrigerated. thank you!
@@mischke2512 it IS amazing and so simple. Mine easily lasts 1-2 months or even more. My husband and I tend to use it up by then. There is nothing in it that isn’t stored at room temperature alone. I think the biggest issue could be contaminating it reaching into the jar. That hasn’t happened for me and I typically use it right after showering, and I do have a small tin container of it in my purse. I would suggest 1-2 months on the gift tag! Let me know how it works out 💞🎄✅
A couple of months ago, I bought a block of organic, unrefined shea butter and made a shea/organic coconut oil whip. I use that same Kirkland brand organic coconut oil and added vitamin C serum. I have to say, it is THE best moisturizer I've ever used. I love that I don't have to buy separate face/body moisturizer any more and because it lasts such a long time, it saves money, too! I haven't added the arrowroot powder only because a number of years ago, I tried making my own deodorant with arrowroot powder and it irritated my skin. What does the beeswax do? I switched over from plastic storage in my kitchen to glass a few years ago. I LOVE my Kitchen Aid. I bought it 25 years ago from a bakery that was going out of business. The thing is a beast, but in a good way!
@@pattybonsera yes!!!! On all of that! I just saw the beeswax in another recipe and decided to add it. I know local honey is my go to for allergy relief and bees pollen is popular. Beeswax gets great reviews from many so I added it! Not a must, but super silky feel
