Kronii once talked about how there likely could have been others that could have been potentially better for the role of Kronii, but I think she's shown that nobody else, but her could have filled that role.
The comparisons you can make between Kronii and Kiara are quite intriguing. They're both in a similar situation but choose to deal with it differently. Kronii is tasked with watching the ever flowing passage of time, meaning she'll outlive most of her mortal friends. She tries to ignore this reality, maybe have some laughs and make some long lasting memories, but her monotone voice and deadpan expression give away her sadness and cynicism. Kiara is a phoenix in the shape a woman (idk why anime logic or sum) and has possibly died multiple times over the course of years, decades, millenia, constantly reborn. Her personality is the exact opposite of Kronii's however, as she's energetic, outgoing and gives off a warm aura. She may not be as old as Kronii, but Kiara's positivity in the face of pseudo immortality is rather endearing. Let's just be glad she won't be alone forever. Cuz that would be the worst non-ending to get. Things might be especially hard for her with 2 of the council members gone, along with the girl who stole her watch.
maybe the reason why the phoenix react positively to her immortality is because she at least can experience death. Because with death, someone can end their misery and don't have to endure the pain endlessly. (It also can explain why Kiara is happy being with Calli)
There's this small cognitive bias where we still conflate the artificial with the unreal. Walls are "constructs" too, and you still cannot walk through them.
I don’t even think Crone is even “in character” at this point I think this is just genuinely *her* it’s her personality fits so well her own lore LOL

Very good, Kronii. You're sticking to your character.
If Only She proud of Herself. She does love Herself.
Kronii being Kronii
Oh, Kronii! Always a mood!
*insert audience laughter*
Nothing can escape the chain of time?
So... Woof?
I hate how much I relate
Maybe 2025 being the year of the Snake will help cheer her up.

@muh.andianto
That's definitely an interesting way to look at it.
Peter Griffin may say WHERE DO YOU GET OFF?
if Kronii has the chains of time, does that mean the Kronies are technically chained up by her?
"But there's no memories its only dry inside"
True... is it in the mud and perhaps sinking deeper?
Not live Hyte reaction 🤣
She is right though...
