This is the first interview in football where a current player has been open about what really is going through his head. They have it in F1 but in football we just get "it's a game of two halves, we have to give 110%"
His interviews are so good.. just speaks from his heart.. not the robotic.. scripted answers about hardwork, mentality and professionalism...

This was by far one of the best seasons that I have seen, city and liverpool fighting for the title, spurs and Arsenal fighting for top for and Leeds Everton and Burnley fighting for relegation. This was truly incredible.

Honestly one of the best interviews I’ve heard in a long time. Speaks from the heart, keeps it real with no filter. That’s how it should be
Its very easy to laugh at his performances especially because of his price tag, but this interview in particular really gives good perspective on what it's like to be in his situation. He's been nervous, eager to impress but afraid to let everyone down, that's incredibly humanizing. Obviously as a Liverpool fan I suppose I don't want him to succeed but I guess I at least don't want him to go down as a massive flop, he's too good a player and a person.
He is a massively likeable guy, hopefully he gets back into form next year
