Give the late Willie Ford credit for putting together a beautiful and unique group of talented vocalist's. Everyone of them are exceptional and true to the originals. Exquisite vocal ranges.
One of the great singing groups I admired after Motown. Wish they had kept it going after The mid 70s but The tide changed not for the better. These guys were the real deal.
@Hurst Kevin. The Dramatics continued to sing & tour all the way through 2008 up until Ron Banks' death. They had a very short dry period but from 1973 they continued to make songs & tour with Linney Mayes (RIP), Larry Demps, Willie Ford, Ron Banks (RIP) and Reynolds through 1980 when Demps decided to teach so he could spend time with his family. They still continued to perform after Demps dropped out. Many times they had four members especially when LJ took off to do his solo album. They had an awesome band and that combination was like hand & glove to me. The ones who stayed with the group continuously were Ron Banks, Lenny Mayes, & Willie Ford. Steven Boyd made the fourth, then Winzell Kelly. Lenny Mayes (RIP) was my favorite, very dedicated, best dancer, and such a gentleman. He really seemed to really enjoy what he was doing.
You all can sing Dramatics sounds dam good u all keep singing so sad about Ron Banks other singers in the group may they all R.I.P. hope and pray the families am so sorry.....Love u all Dramatics
Soulclips 59. I am sooooo with you. These men can sing. They are young and can't get anything but better. You can tell they love singing. LJ's voice is not what it used to be and he is so money hungry. The nerve of him saying Ron's wife couldn't get any money because Ron Banks, a founding member was no longer singer. Mrs. Banks l am so glad you lawyered up and reclaimed your husband's group with hiscontinued hard work until his death. It is true God don't like ugly. l will be coming to see you Willie Ford and your Dramatics
These guys can sing, but they don’t possess harmony of the original. Willie don’t exactly have to leave the room When Melvin Franklin enters a room. Obviously these guys please a lot of people. Like E.B Brown they are imitators.

that brother doing ron banks vocals sounds pretty close ,the other guys not so much! the harmony not bad ,willie ford nice!
