The Angel face you see is the Haserot, named “The Angel of Death Victorious". The stoic angel is seated on the marble gravestone of canning entrepreneur Francis Haserot and his family. Holding an extinguished torch upside-down, it represents a symbol of life extinguished. Wings are outstretched and the gaze is straight ahead.
IN THE END, DEATH ALWAYS WINS. LEST THE FACES NOT BE FORGOTTEN...
This channel is focused on casually walking and viewing a handful of the thousands of forgotten names and faces at various cemeteries near and afar. Seeing their faces up close. And when able, telling the stories behind their names.
Most graves are unknown and lost to history.
    Some are famous.
    And some infamous....
    ....and some with tragic endings.

I had an uncle who passed away in a traffic accident, he and his wife had married young and had 6 c children almost all grown up.
as we made our way to the chapel for his burial as the car pulled up to the area my oldest cousin asked his mum how she was, she replied tired but am ok.
He walked round to open car door and help her out but she just sat there, as he reached in to help her she told him she loved him smiled and closed her eyes. . She was fine 5 days after her love.
Uncles service was obviously cancelled and three days later both were laid to rest together on their 21at wedding anniversary

Very sad story. We had a tragic story too. The couple were married in the Courthouse, drove out to go to reception and were hit by a truck. She died instantly but he survived. Her parents were in the car behind. Her mother walked everyday to the cemetery for years to place flowers and grieve. The husband did eventually marry and had a family.

    1. Ron; only you to get a plane and go there, only to tell a story. *And WHAT A STORY!*
    2. Quite a sad story. Beautiful love tale among two youngsters turned into tragedy, by the unexplainable routes of fate.
    3. What a heavy burden for the young man to carry. No wonder he also departed at quite young age(at least I consider 57 young).
    4. Everyone told you that one million times, but here it goes again: *what a man you are.* Kind, respectful, simple yet full of details and quite honorable emotions. Through your words, we could go back to that fateful day in 46, where everything seemed to be so promising, but ended in disbelief and desolation.
Your final words were very touching, thank you. May they have found peace in the beyond. All of them.

Surely, Ron is demonstrating a constant vision of God’s calling, gathering all of us together because many of us believe we are separated from our loved ones. Great job!

Thank you for another amazing journey Ron and for getting the actual article showing the pictures and the update of John's "future" son, Louis. Such a beautiful girl and such a tragic story also for Fiance John and the distraught Father with his Daughter dead in his arms that caused him to never return to that church. John got to hear her tell him how much she loved him "with all her heart" before the ceremony, but never at the altar. Was it a combination of the embarrassment and nervousness of stepping on her gown and her sensitive, "rheumatic" heart that caused her death, we can only speculate. But regardless such a tragic story. Sometimes we don't know "why" things like this happen. Interestingly, my Mother was engaged to be married and her fiance drowned. If they had been married, I wouldn't have been born. I also knew a beautiful young girl that was to be married and was killed in an automobile accident. She was also in full bridal gown and veil at her wake. Our memories do live on and out faith let's us know we'll meet again... ❤

As always Ron, u did an amazing job with both the video and narration!! This is truly such a sad story... almost every little girl dreams of their wedding day from a very young age...what ur gown with look like, what color ur bridesmaids will wear, what kind of flowers to have etc...she waited her whole life for this amazing day to marry her prince charming only for it to end in complete tradegy. One minute her family, fiance, and all her friends watched as she walked down the isle looking so beautiful and so incredibly happy, then the next minute she is on the floor not breathing....it's just so very heartbreaking😥 I'm glad her family decided to bury her in her wedding gown (I'm sure she would have definitely wanted that!!) At least now, she is together again in Heaven with her parents/family.... But one thing this story shows us, is that we truly never know what tomorrow may bring...may she and her family RIP 🙏💜😥💕

What a heartbreaking story! So many losses in the young groom’s life and then to lose his bride just as they were about to celebrate their wedding. There are times when life seems so unfair. Downright cruel in fact.

It was so sad as John had lost his a mom a year, or so before Rose died. Then, to lose his sister, and father a few years later. Heartwrenching... So sad that John only lived to age 57.

Kate Chopin, a noted 19th century southern author, wrote a story called "The Story of an Hour" in which a woman with a weak heart dies of shock upon seeing her believed-to-be-dead husband. One of the lines in the story was later turned into the title of the film production of the tale; the movie being called "The Joy that Kills." I can think of no better title for the real-life tale of Rose. May her soul rest in peace.

Regarding the fact that many cemeteries are often near train tracks, I was told by a cemetery superintendent that the headstones were often brought in by train many years ago. Oxen were used to haul the stones into the cemetery. Thank you for your interesting videos!

OMG, the poor lady and the families. The only solace I can think of for her is that she was so happy and excited and that she left this earth on that note surrounded by so many who loved her.

How tragic and sad. Poor Johnny having gone through all that loss so close together. And poor Rose to have to leave so suddenly on the cusp of her life. God bless them both and their families. Thank you, Ron, for honoring their stories. Without those who tell the tales, who knows how many others rest under stones and monuments around the world who had dramatic lives to share?

What a sad story! :-( I'm glad Johnny was able to move on, but I can only imagine the heartbreak that he had to endure. First love is so sacred.
I found it so fitting at the end of your video birds could be heard singing. It just seemed so peaceful and something close to Heaven.
Another excellent video, friend. Thank you for remembering these beautiful people!
