I’m vacationing in NW Washington and it feels like I’m hiking in air conditioning. I’m from N GA and it’s like 98 degrees F now so I don’t feel bad for you guys when you say it’s hot out here. Lol nice riding wish I had my bike with me here maybe next time

Was just having a conversation with my friend about mtb specific jerseys. Drives me crazy how all of these companies think everyone wants the thinnest shirt ever. Apparently the moisture wicking abilities of all of the other sports' uniforms where much more money went into R & D are wrong with their thicker and most times stronger material (and more premium for that matter). It just makes no sense to me...But thankfully not too injured! The trail started to look really cool

It’s honestly always a trade off. I definitely like the feel of a heavier shirt, they seem to hang better. But it’s already too damn hot here to be in a heavy long sleeve.
Funny I used to ride in a Lulu lemon long sleeve shirt because it was a nice thick fabric. Similar crash and it disintegrated. This NF shirt is half the weight, and while I did rip it, the hole is smaller than I thought, maybe the size of a dime. Can’t blame the material for that one, but I do agree most companies could go with a heavier material, even just for feel alone!

@@jordanchaplinmtb Yeah, I feel ya on that one. My argument is more along the lines of like a polyester blend or something youd find in an authentic soccer or maybe baseball jersey, so still light enough to not feel like a fireball, but strong enough to resist some crashes

@@pt.mtb2389 Totally, a shop I worked got us jerseys like that in 2003, plain black t-shirt style with there logo on it.
It’s still one of my first picks in the closet. That stuff just lasts.

@@jordanchaplinmtb If I may ask, what are you doing to combat the wind noise with the chest mount? Chin mount seems to be fine with wind reduction on but with the chest mount it is almost unbearable at a decent speed
      cheers

@@ClippinPedals nothing yet, this is all just the standard setup. I’ll add some wind screens too.
On my GoPros , I went to a music store and bought a mic cover for a couple of bucks. Cut it up and stuck it over top. Works awesome.

    No gloves....why wear a jersey?
