This is maybe the best and most easy crochet halter top tutorial! This simple halter top crochet tutorial will teach you step by step how to crochet a top for beginners. There is a lot of crochet top tutorials on TH-cam, so it can be hard to find an easy crochet top pattern. I love this ribbed halter top and i like to crochet tops for women, since they are easy to adjust for different sizes. You can easily do this crochet summer top, since we almost only work with single crochet stitches for this easy halter top.
So whatever the weather may be?, all summer crochet / spring crochet tutorials, should include at least some tops for women 😀 if you are going to crochet wearables or maybe thinking of doing a crochet crop top.

I made this, but had to make a bunch of adjustments to fit my size 0 daughter. I started with the extra small pattern and the ribbed cuff was a perfect fit. But as i started going up, i added a bunch of rows before the decrease started, and then i alternated two regular rows and two decrease rows for a more gradual decrease. We both love the final product.
I'd post a photo, but can't figure out how.

I am a size medium but 116 rows for the ribbing seems to be way too small??
It's the same for me. I've had to make a lot more rows. It's the same when working upwards - a lot more rows needed. I don't know if I crochett too tight.
We all have different tension. You Can easily add more rows in the beginning🙏
Is chain 18 the regular base for all sizes?
Yes, I would always do 18. If You feel like the brim needs to be smaller or wider, You can costumize :-)
