Honestly I love the show and guests but they don't really show the hot sauce being applied to the wing anymore. I am guilty of pausing it when they get to Da Bomb and I look for signs of it being on the wing and I don't see it anymore. I want to believe.

I love when she said "it must be so exciting for the sauce company to have it on your show." no one in this show has said this. I think this very small acknowledgment is what makes me see how thoughtful Jennifer could really be in real life. A really great and present person to have a conversation with.
also when she asked about what he eats outside of work and how sean telling her how annoying it is to be the wing guy
Also the way she acknowledges the people who lines up the sauces in the order they were arranged is cute. Never heard anyone or guest who mentions them.
@@poalex587 I’d attribute that to a couple of things: 1) She knows “great TV” (or internet video) when she sees it, and 2) She’s always thinking about all the things and people that must come together to make a really, really memorable show/film/etc!

it's probably a huge part of what makes her a great actress. she's super curious about others and observant about what's going on/how people are feeling/etc.
I haven't watched all of these episodes, but at 9 minutes when Jennifer starts to ask Sean about what it's like for him when he goes out to eat, do people at restaurants send him wings expecting a reaction. That's pretty frkn neat hey? It's not just all about her, she is genuinely interested in his experiences too. These are my favourite sort of interviews, when there's a real back and forth

I was really feeling for her. She was desperately trying to hold it together and get to the end. She was totally incredible, to keep going like she did, whilst clearly undergoing intense pain and being extremely uncomfortable. The obvious worry, confusion, raw emotion and vulnerability was there for everyone to see, which makes this my favourite personable interview I've seen, ever.
It was soo real and touching that I was gripped.
I was a huge fan before, but now, just WOW. Sorry for Fanboying, but this just moved me soo much. Loved it 🎉🎉.

This show's biggest strength is that it isn't a regular celebrity interview that asks the regular press-junket questions. It's not a voyeuristic glimpse into a celebrity shilling their latest project so much as a window into the creative process of different artists and the industries they work in.
@@sokar_rostau Agree with this. He always asks about their experiences, creative process and inspirations in their field or others. It's very refreshing. Because of that. everyone's responses feel more genuine and less "I have to say this for the press".
I remember reading an article one time that indicated the host is really quite good with his interview questions. It's almost but not entirely unlike a press junket, which is refreshing.

Agreed, Lawrence is by far the most beautiful woman by physical and personal attributes in hollywood. I couldn't handle watching the more intense moments and had to skip through, just couldn't watch her vulnerable like that. Still was the most intense and real episode to date and I've been watching for a looooong time.

2. They probably didn’t tell her that, she said she thought they had backup dresses, which is logical, so she didn’t worry about dirtying them. Also you can just clean the dress lol, unless she like ripped it you don’t need to make a whole new dress
When I was on the set of aqua man, Jason momoa would always do extreme muscle training right after costumes were made. He did this so that he could flex and rip the costume that was now too small for him. Wardrobe had to make 7 aqua man suits by the end of it, delayed the film by months.

Really got to appreciate Sean because he is a real host and always likes to have a laugh with them all. He really puts himself in the fire line and goes through all the emotions, i don't know how he manages it weekly. I love all the research, hard work and dedication he puts into every episode. This is one of the best episodes of Hot Ones! Jennifer is such a sweet and bubbly person and I love that she asks Sean questions as well. Very engaged in the conversation.
Yes I loved that she kept asking Sean questions cause we don’t see that very often most celebrities haven’t done that they just talk about themselves
@@mariasofia8501 that's what an interview is tho... there's nothing wrong with her asking him questions, but there's nothing wrong with just answering the interviwer's questions because that's literally just part of their job...

@@beatricewilliams3620 yes but in my opinion interview is still at least two people that are interacting with each other and when they both seem to be interested with each other’s opinions I found it more fun to listen to. And it was nice to know something about Sean’s experience with other people and with chicken. Cause I had no idea and this interview made me realize I know nothing about him even tho I have watched many episodes.

That had me in so many ways, it was funny and sad at the same time, I laughed but also wanted to help, for me she is the favorite so far
I live for the background laughter of the crew in these episodes. If I were a guest on the show, I'd feel like a success if my reactions and honesty made the crew laugh.
Probably the friend she said was also in the room.
The laughter is her posse of yes-men, they are paid to react that way.

Wow, Jennifer Lawrence really impressed me with her spice tolerance and her humor. She was so honest and funny about how the wings affected her. I liked how she described the flavor of each sauce. She’s such a talented and genuine person!

Her stages of grief at the last bottle is top notch. It's just so funny. She starts by being comfy, then curious, then scared about whats next, to crying.
All while you can hear Sean laughing in the background at that series of stages. 😆
