been enjoying the content. Here's a trade from my recent 12 man .5 ppr SF startup where I tiered down but would say I won. I gave away 1.05 Josh Allen, 2.07 Puka, for the 1.09 Chase, 2.04 AR, and the 4.04 Odunze
For future trade video material: 14 team SF PPR I traded away Goff and a lateish 2025 2nd for PUKA NACUA My remaining QBs are Dak, Jayden Daniels and Minshew.
During the rookie draft traded AidanOC, JJMaccarthy, 2025/26 1st and 25 3rd for Mahomes and the 2.04, which I drafted Penix. Also traded Chase Brown and two fourths for the 2.05 which I drafted Trey Benson. Also have Burrow and some backups. I know you like picks but I’m competing and needed a good qb. I can also compete in the future. Superflex 12 team. Start 9 with idp.
Totally understandable for not getting to a lot of comments lol. I’m curious on your thoughts on my trade. I sent to another content creator and they disliked it due to their inflated values at QB, but wanna see your thoughts: 10 team SF, tier ppr Start 11. Traded Herbert, 2.07 for Bijan, Bryce Young, 3.07. Already had Stroud, Kyler, Levis, Rodgers at QB, NEEDED RB had Singletary, K Miller, Z White. TE and WR are solid and have 1.02, 2.02, 2.04 still.
I get your take on my trade, and appreciate the feedback. I view it a bit differently given the full context of my team/league. I am more than set at WR (Chase, Puka, London, Moore, JSN, Wicks, Pop Douglas, Lockett, etc.) and despite being a 10 team league, starting QBs are hard to come by and cost a premium due to folks over rostering them. I know neither Maye or JJ will likely move the needle this season (especially early on), but with such a poor outlook for QBs in the next draft class I wanted to move into a position in the draft where I didn't need to worry about getting jumped (which is probably where we just see things differently as you see it as a value play within the tier). So my view was Downs was expendable and worth the cost to move from 1.08 to 1.06 (with the 2025 3rd giving me more flexibility for future trades). Pollard was harder to let go of as he was my backup RB behind Saquon and ETN, but the 2.04 felt like more than fair value for a player who could fall off the map if he struggles this season. In that range, should be looking at someone like Ladd/BTJ/Benson. I also have the 1.09 and 2.06, so the improved positioning opens up more ability to trade back and extract more value during the draft. That said, it is helpful to think through the transaction through a different lens and will take your reflections into account as I consider future moves.
Definitely see your perspective here. This is probably one of those “know your league” situations. Sometimes leagues are so far removed from the market at large that you have to make unconventional deals.

Love your videos keep up the good work! Also ive just taken over a team that has really low value right now. I started a rebuild and got some 25 1st picks to get some value, but im thinking about packaging some of my older assets to get a superstar starting piece. Should i do it or just wait out the season in tanking mode and see what happens in the next offseason?
I would definitely be shipping off your older assets but wouldn't necessarily be targeting a superstar. If you think you're getting a good price, then I'm not opposed. But typically you can build up roster value more easily by getting in early on players that are still ascending / rookie picks.
@@PurePotentialFFWould the goal be to build up the entire roster with young upside and rookies, then trade for that big superstar to push your team over the edge, once your team is pushing for the championship?
How do you compare bijan to laporta in dynasty? Competing with or without deal (I own laporta and am wondering if it’s worth trying to acquire bijan for him) I already have cmc saquon kelce so don’t have to have bijan or laporta. No TEP
So if I'm in desperate need of a rb and looking to contend, you wouldn't trade baker (as my qb3) and a 2025 1st plus for bijan or breece? 12 team SF, PPR, 0.5 TEP
When stating how many player you start, do you include K and DST? We start 1 qb, 2-3 rb, 2-4 wr, 1-2 te and k and dst. 8 starters, not including k and dst. So is this a start 8 or start 10?
Zay flowers for 2025 2nd 3rd and 2026 2nd probably late Before you flame I have Nico collins tee Higgins Xavier worthy Brian Thomas Jr Hollywood brown do I didn’t feel like I neeeded the extra Wr firepower especially when their offense is run heavy
Why don’t NFL teams play multiple QBs in real life? Because it’s not realistic. Some people like playing 1 QB, defenses, and a kicker because it all resembles a real life team more. Playing in a multiple QB league is fun and all, but all it does is just increase the total amount of points teams score against each other. It doesn’t add much of a benefit, while playing just one QB means that one QB you’re playing matters so much more and needs to be top-tier
@HarrisonOrr1997 no, it makes qbs actually matter, you know, like they do in real life. Just look at your draft board and where the qbs get picked in 1qb vs superflex. If the qb matters "so much more" in 1qb, why do they go at the top of the draft in sf and get passed over in 1qb?
@@bankopotomus okay, fair. The point still stands with it being more realistic to actually play just one QB per matchup, because, well, that’s what NFL teams do. They start one quarterback. Also, yes obviously QBs in a superflex because more valuable to a sense, but almost too much, to where it takes away the value of other positions. I personally like the concept of Travis Etienne mattering more in leagues than a QB like Trevor Lawrence who is still good in his own right, but is heavily overvalued when a superflex league is a thing
@@HarrisonOrr1997 and if you are playing in a 20 or even a 16 team league, maybe it makes sense to have a 1 qb setup. But it's pretty ridiculous to play in a 10 or 12 team league where you can punt the most important position in all of sports and all be successful.
im in a dynasty league thats been around since 1990, its a bar league where we do thursday meetings at the bar for pickups and drops.
Your dynasty league is seven years older than me! That's crazy!
