- I check out 2 CEC locations with A Circles of Light Stage and The Last 2 stage in Houston and find out the animatronics are being torn out in a few days, Enjoy!

Super sad that the future generations of kids won't be able to experience the pure magic of these robots. These robots didn't just perform, they represented something important. They never just represented Chuck E Cheese, they represented happiness, family, friendship, and memories. Having it gone is truly heartbreaking.
Yeah. Back when they were taken care of, when the show rooms were dark, you really saw the magic and the illusion of the “show”. But I’m glad there seems to be a sudden interest in animatronics now. So who knows…

@@larryistall that how showbiz pizza did it have the showroom dark. I used to work at showbiz in the 80 I have one manger did not like the show room dark..

This is hard to watch. I don't like to think that part of my childhood is being ripped down and destroyed.
Bad shape or not, I STILL can't imagine a Chuck E. Cheese's without a showstage and animatronics.

This is just terrible and it's happening a lot more now they want to do away with all the animatronic shows because nobody pays attention to them anymore they say I call BS it's to cut cost on repairs for the animatronic shows it's probably the real reason
As much as the animatronics fuel my nightmares, they’re still nostalgic to my childhood… I remember peeking behind the curtains and staring at them for what seemed like hours but was probably only minutes. Creepy yet enchanting!
Aw man this location here was the exact one that I always went to as a child when it was my birthday, fond memories I have when I always went on the stage and touch the animatronics and try and get its attention lol. Sad that it's all going away now. 😔
The day that they remove the animatronics from Mentor OH. I’m literally going to cry THEY ARE MY ENTIRE CHILDHOOD.
Mentor just had their 2.0 plans released online and they are scheduled to be remodeled in September 2023.

I heard of someone on reddit that found a headless Chuck E. animatronic in the dumpster behind a location that was being reconstructed. It was a studio c animatronic
If I ever have kids one day, I will not take them to a Chuck E. Cheese's because of this horrible decision made by corporate!

Wow! I was just at the stafford texas location last week! I'm going back tomorrow so I can get take advantage of the animatronics before they get removed. I wish I was here when you where here! It would have been incredible to meet someone who has the same passions in animatronics (rock afire and cec) as I do.
Yes it sure would have been! I hope you get in there in time to see them, as you can see in the video they're not moving much but I expect they'll be gone by weeks end.
It’s sad to see the poor condition of these animatronics and of 2.0 taking over rest in peace the Animtronics I have an idea for CEC they should sell there animatronics on eBay or there own website or send them back to the factory or put them in the private party room instead of wasting them like they weren’t in history SCINE WHEN DID CEC GET A NEW FOUNDER also I think the guy who made 2.0 hit his head
This was the location I went to as a child, it's gonna be sad when the Animatronic 2-stage in Stafford is gone.
Sadly, its been confirmed that the Stafford 2 stage is now gone.

You were in my city! I was working at the Weslayan location when they were building the Stafford location, and some of the team members were going to Stafford to train the new crew. I was maintaining the 3-Stage Show in Houston up until it finally closed a few years ago (it was the last of the original ShowBiz Pizza locations in Houston). Houston had a LOT of Chuck E Cheese stores, with a mix of a lot of old ShowBiz Pizza locations and new post-1992 stores (and an acquired Discovery Zone, renovated into CEC in Humble, which had an alpha stage). The other 2-Stage location was in Webster, TX and was converted to a Studio C fairly early on. Not sure if you made it to Lake Jackson south of Houston, but they have a Smalltown Chuck store in Brazos mall which started with the buffet concept and no show at all. They later added a Studio C Cappa show.
I'm so sad to see the animatronics go. The business decisions make sense financially. But it sure is going to be a lame shame without them. There's one remaining show in my home state of Michigan. I just went to see them today when I heard the news. It seems like a combination of a road show, and 1 stage with cool chuck. I'm not quite sure. I haven't been in years. But even with my short visit. You can tell the owners and staff care for them very very much. And neither want to let go. We'll see what future is to come for this store.

Even though the 2-stage has Cyberamics and they are cheap and mediocre, it still is my favorite CEC stage, so seeing one in such bad condition and about to get trashed really sucks. Poor guys... they deserve better.

If you watch old videos of them in the 90s, they were still pretty impressive, even with the limited movements. They’re so big in person
@@larryistall I wouldn't say "impressive", but they in fact were a lot better. That's because it really depends on the programming, and CEC's programming used to be a lot better. Nowadays they barely program any movements and it makes limited but still decent animatronics look pathetic. Even the 3-stage with Rock-afire mechs looks like a joke if you compare to the actual Rock-afire Explosion, because Aaron Fechter is a hell of a programmer.

RIP, I might have been to this location as a kid since I remember seeing a full band at the restaurant.
Damn I left houston 15 years ago and this Stafford CEC was one of my favorites as a kid just the showroom dim and the animatronics singing and the playroom slides and game rooms was amazing, sad to see this go
The circles of lights stage was actually in Corporate stores too!! it was the main stage to be used from 2012 to 2017
When I went there doing Contrution they were off sad that there gonna go And Awsome video And plus I love the COL Stage
Wow, that has to be the worst condition cyberamic stage I’ve ever seen. When CEC allows their bots to fall into such a state of disrepair, it’s no wonder the kids aren’t interested in them anymore.

Circles of light actually HAS gone into a few company owned locations, of which, I *THINK* only a handful have bots/ It will be interesting to see if the new video screen will be put up on the wall to your right of where the stage was.
So I went to chuck e cheese that is located in woodlands texas and i was very lucky to see one of these stages a week ago
When animatronics die, part of me dies with them
You can tell if it's a 16 or 32 by the eyebrows. The 32 movements eyebrows pop out more since his eyebrows move. The 16 movements eyebrows are attached close to his face since they don't move.

Can you check out the Circle of Lights stage at Kapolei in Hawaii. The Circle of Lights stage is a pretty unique and probably a very rare stage as it has a dance floor mixed with a circle of lights stage.
It's definitely on my list, I'll be in Hawaii next year I'm going to try to see it then ☺️

At stafford the speakers were there just not by the stage
True. This location (and maybe most 2-stage locations) used ceiling speakers in the showroom rather than music speakers at the front of the stage. Plus they had high ceilings at that location. I remember it being somewhat hard to hear.

I’m gonna try and go this week and get some footage before it’s too late. I hope they were just aired down cause the store was about to closed. If I don’t come here before, I’m afraid I might have to quit TH-cam. I’m running out of content and this would really help.
u should go see the road stage, theirs's one in charlotte but it's not in the best area and the stage is pretty bad when they move and half of the time they are in random mode. they are supposed to remodel at the end of this year. I'm pretty sure the best road stage is wane NJ but heard they are remodeling very soon

The two stage is in South Houston in the suburb of Stafford and the circles of light stage is in West Houston.
I don't know if your ever in California but if you are you definitely should visit the La Mesa ca location, its really unique

I have the ultimate Chuck-E-Cheese token Collection. I am interested in selling, it contains 6 albums full of just about every token made (multiples of most) including three of the infamous Santa Anna tokens. Also included are some figurines and other items.

Can you try to go to the Augusta Georgia Chuck E Cheese they have a 3 stage that's my hometown I grew up there and had many birthday parties there and my mom went there when it was a Showbiz Pizza Place you'll really like it if you go there!!! 😊😉👍
I'm sure I would and it is definitely on my list but I don't have a trip taking me near it for at least the rest of this year so hopefully next year I'll find a way to get out there but it may be gone by then, fingers crossed!
Sad also that pesqualy had a special mask and Chuck had a PTT mask

And plus I got an idea what if they can make a video game for all platforms and Plus they should put buy ur own store design it how u want and Design the stage and u can pick if u want a one or 2 stage and u can also choose ur own robot for ur stage and Design in how ever u want and also Do missions and restock everything and all just like Grand theft Auto V for the PS4 and it would be cool and amazing

Well several locations in the Houston area have the circles of light stage so they have a single Chuck E. animatronic but this was the very last stage that had the whole band and it is now long gone.

@@josephcantu9442 Ah man, he was born right before they took out the Weslayan store in Houston, which was the 3-stage I maintained (the last originally ShowBiz Pizza locations from 1982). I don't know which ones have been replaced (replacements were going kind of slow here), but at least there are lots of locations all of the city. I do have videos of my 3-stage under my acct if you're curious. Or you can search for other people that recorded Weslayan show.

You should go to the cec in port orange FL that is probably the best circle of light stage you also could go to the west Melbourne FL location it has the only galaxy stage which is a test stage that came before the circle of light stage

This sucks. Reminds me when I went to Chicago and had a 1 stage and asked about it and they are going to be demolished in august. I even offered to purchase them but to no avail.

Not yet, theres still 20+ 3 stages left. I did a video at one of the best maintained 3 stages in Huntsville, AL a couple of months ago.

Are they planning on auctioning the animatronics off? If they don’t want them, I could imagine it’d be better to put them in the hands of fans who would willingly take care of them.
Probably not, all the managers have been instructed to destroy them as they're putting them into the dumpster. There are a few scattered reports of some employees saving certain shows but this show doesn't look like it's going to get saved. 😕
@@SetsStreetsEats I can confirm that the “Distroying them” thing Is a myth. The Stage is distroyed but the bots are sent to corporate. Also I’ve spoken to the manger at this location as it is my local stage. These guys are being sent back to corporate for project “Super Chuck E.” Which is a new museum corporate is planning!
@@RolfeafireExplosion well I'm not sure if he was lying to you but somebody just posted on this video about an hour ago that they were destroyed yesterday and that they were able to salvage several things from the animatronics in the dumster and claims that she has Helen's head hanging on her wall now from this location.

There goes another 2-Stage, hope Lansing won't be next after Stafford, I can't bear to see Lansing's show thrown out into a landfill, never to be seen again, and I'm not letting Grand Rapids' Studio C Alpha go in its current state with Chuck's left eyebrow only able to go up and Bird's mouth jammed open, I'm going to make sure that GR's Alpha is safe when I get a job there, there's no way I'm staying to see a perfectly good stage go and be replaced by a cheap dance floor in the remodel and grand reopening of what used to be a Showbiz location, Novi's Beta is dead from the Grand Reopening of what used to be the last 32-Movement Studio C Beta in Michigan.
