Well i can report from NYC, the ER in my hospital where i work has progressively gotten less cases (we had the most cases in the U.S. starting in Feb.) and now we are slowly seeing more psych patients. The strain that my hospital staff experienced was not like the one in the media. All of my + coworkers had intense body aches and fatigue and a fever, but no cough. (less frequent but still prevalent: shortness of breath, chest tightness, headache). I'm worried for the second wave because our psych patients have to be cleared in the ER before they can be sent to the Pscyh. ER and you don't want to be too busy and turn your back on someone who says they came in to the ER because, "the devil told them to hurt someone and they can't take it anymore"... lets just hope it keeps going down.
