I use optimize battery charging, put my phone on the charger at 20% and charge it to 100%, I’ve been told that’s horrible for battery life and battery health. I’ve been doing this for as long as I can remember. Is 20% up to 100% fine?

It should be on the charger overnight to let it sync with iCloud and cache its files. Also, if it's dropping that quickly when not being used, it's probably an issue with your cellular carrier. Try putting the iPhone into AirPlane Mode, and then turn on WiFi only (but keep it in Airplane mode so that cellular is off). I bet it won't drop much. You might just have poor cellular reception in your area and it's constantly searching for a signal.
Because Apple doesn't need to track my location for my Bluetooth and WiFi to work lol. They put that warning to scare people into leaving it on. I've had it off since they introduced that setting years ago, never had an issue.
I always let mine get to 1% then charge to 100% on the initial unboxing of my new phone. But it’s more of a tradition. No clue if it helps. But besides that you should follow the tips in the video. I don’t use AirPods much due to EMF radiation they emit.

It counts even if it’s plugged in. That was actually from a bug. I used to be on a FaceTime audio call all night and it would record in the battery section as screen on/active even when it wasn’t.

Yes because people are irresponsible and leave their brightness at 100%. I mention that specifically later in the video 👍🏻 if you keep your brightness the way I mentioned it’ll help your battery in most cases.

Leave it plugged in overnight on Wi-Fi. Sounds like it’s syncing. Also, make sure you have good cellular reception. If your phone is always looking for 4G LTE and 5G it’s gonna drain it

The iPhone 15 is the best iPhone ever but imo when it comes to battery health it is one of the worse but it does last all day unless you just go crazy with media consumption
It’s gonna drain fast the first week because you’re on it more and it’s doing background updates. Leave it on a charger overnight and on wifi and it should do most of those tasks while you sleep
If it's brand new it'll take a week for all yours stuff to cache so give it 1-2 weeks and the battery should be better. Follow the steps in this video and our other battery tips videos and it'll help

It’s not worth it, unless you’re trying to degrade your experience to save 10 cents’ worth of battery health over a year of use.
Sounds about right! Don't be alarmed if your battery health starts dropping quickly in the next few weeks/months. Typically after the 150 cycle count/99% drop it will start re-calibrating to the true % and will drop to 95% within a few months. Totally normal! It's just recalibrating to give you a true %

Normal, it’s syncing. Make sure you leave it on the charger overnight on wifi so it can sync overnight. Keep it out of heat too.

You can charge your phone as much as you need. The more you use your phone, the quicker the battery health will degrade though.

Make sure you keep it on a charger every night for the first week at least so that it can do its background tasks overnight

iPhone 14 Pro was way worse on battery. iPhone 15 Pro is pretty great. Basic models idk. But the Pros are great.
