Thanks Tim. 3n1 plus a trailer and several extra tires, yes please! Lol
@@sodakmodelcars Yep!
1961 Chevrolet Apache Customizing Pickup Truck Kit with trailer and engine
SMP that trailer started life as a single axle trailer
@@model-grail-kit-hunter Can never have to many trailers!
Great unboxing 😁 I just picked one of these up last week at Hobby Lobby for under 20 bucks (40% off 😉) for my dad for Christmas, might try to get one for myself too 😊✌️
I think its a great value at HL 40% off. I will add another the next chance I have.
@@sodakmodelcars me too 😁👍
im going to HL for that, thanks!
I paid $$26.00 with the 40 % discount at Hobby Lobby for this kit 3 days ago
Thanks for sharing the unboxing, looks like a great kit!
Thanks and thanks for watching!
Awesome job doing the open box review. I been thinking about getting this kit. I appreciate you sharing this . Have a great weekend my friend
Thanks Neamon and enjoy your weekend also!
Great open box review! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Nice unboxing and parts review. Have fun building this.👍
Thanks David! I think it'll be a fun one.
Nice unboxing Adam looks very well-detailed and a lot of parts to choose from enjoy the build have a good one buddy 👍🎄
Thank you!
Well, there's another one I've gotta have. Great unboxing. Thank you.
Thanks for watching! Never too many tow rig options!
Nice unboxing. That's a pretty kewl looking kit. Love the ole fat fender trucks.
Thanks Zippi! Pretty iconic era!
Great unboxing I lust got this model but for now I will just do the stocker hauler I'm not a ford person so I will be doing a chevy I may try and us the hauler as a template and scratch build one now that I have one I can copy
Thank you. I'm a custom fan, so mine will get the custom treatment. Could be a good template, good luck.
I’ll have to get that kit. Thanks for the review
Thanks and thanks for watching William.
Cool unboxing.
I like how it come with extra sets of tires..
I agree, Ill never complain about extras.
Nice unboxing. I’ve heard that some of these kits have warped parts. Thanks for sharing. 😎🇨🇦
Thanks! I guess I haven't heard that about these yet, I'll have to keep that in mind.
They do, per my comment. It's loaded with a bunch of cool parts but the chassis is always twisted. In this kit not only did the chassis have a twist but it's bowed too.
Contacted R2, not sure what they can do about it just be sure to keep your receipt.
Well well well. Nice unboxing lots of cool parts with the trailer I'll have to get one now.
Thanks for watching, it's worth getting in my opinion.
I’ve been looking at this kit!
Don't just look at it! 😃
@@sodakmodelcars I think I have one in my cart on Amazon haha
Great unboxing my brother just love this kit hopefully I'll be able to pick one up before there gone very nice kit it looks like. 🙂Thomas over at The Model Hobbyist
Thanks Thomas! I definitely think its one to get in the stash.
I subscribed with Bell. I had used real high E guitar strings as guitar strings on a Polar Lights (or Aurora I forget) as guitar strings on the Weird-Ohs two guitar players diorama kit.
Thank you! Using the real thing is a good way to make it look more real!
Great unboxing review 👍The very beginning of the video was pretty funny 😄
Lol Thanks, something fun and different for the wrapped kits.
Very informative. Thanx
Thank you
Thanks for the referral - looks like there's no useful bits in this set (just saved 40 bucks!) 😊
There was another release of this kit in the 70's. It was the Grant King Racing Team.
Cool Thanks for sharing! That kit doesn't show up on scalemates anywhere so I was unaware. Had to do some Google searches to check it out.
It’s the same trailer that comes in the California drag combo. This one has a tire rack but the same trailer
Yes, there's several combos that use the same trailer.
Thanks for sharing. I thought that, that is the same 1953 Coke truck. 🤟🤠👍
Yeah they make you buy the excessively re-popped stuff to get the trailer! Lol
@@sodakmodelcars 😆 that's why I want it. I going to make a template of the trailer so I can make my own.🤟🤠👍
Just may have to get me one of those.
Surprised you don't have one! 😉 lol I'd recommend it from what I've seen!
@@sodakmodelcars My finances hit the skids early this year so I don't have many recent kits.
I understand just figured maybe there was an earlier release.
Why ya open iiit so aggressiiiive, bro? Lol J/K
I have the Diamond in the Rough kit. I've had it in the stash for a really long time. I should build it. That kit seems to be really popular right now. Nice unboxing.
Lol I don't know, i guess when you have the power of editing you HAVE to use it right?! I was looking hard at picking up just the 53 Ford right before this released....but add a trailer and don't mind if I do! Lol
I want this get so bad ! How much did it cost you? I want this to put a race on the trailer
Hobbly Lobby marked at 40.99 so @40% off it would've been 24.60. Great value at that price in my opinion!
I like this kit, but the issue I have with it and other versions of the truck is that the chassis ALWAYS has some sort of twist.
Thanks for sharing. I have not built any version of this kit so I'll be sure to keep that in mind!
I am in Sioux Falls, where are you located?
Milbank area
Watch axels are to short mine is
Thanks for the heads up. I have a selection of 1/16 rods I can custom make axles with.
Is much as these things are you shouldn't have to do that
