When you play the chiefs you’re not just going against Mahomes and Andy Reid. You’re also going against the refs, and the whole NFL. Simply outplaying and outscoring them is not enough, you need a miracle to happen. Because if you somehow come out on top, they will get a bail out. I don’t think anyone denies they get helped by the refs, but the question is how can you avoid getting calls AND play football at the same time?

We don't know that the Ravens, "lost the game by a toe." If Isaiah Likely is inbounds when he catches the ball, the Ravens are still behind by one, and as we saw, they were planning to go for two. We don't know what would've happened. The two point conversion may have been successful. It may have failed. In my opinion, it's more accurate to say they lost the opportunity to win or tie the game by a toe, but you can't say for certain that they win if Isaiah Likely is inbounds.

For just the Bengals game the Cheif’s needed a scoop and score, PI by a rookie, terrible run defense, and a missed extra point to win. Not to mention the Bengals’ best receiver playing terribly. Does that really seem like the Cheif’s beating the Bengals at their best? If the Bengals played at their best, the Cheif’s would have lost. If both teams played at their best it would be super competitive and I’m not sure who would win. So no, the Cheif’s aren’t “that much better than everybody”.
