My dive buddy and I write our initials in silver Sharpie on the bottom of our fins. It reflects the light well and really helps on group night dives.

Having a powerful lantern at the haul out point is another good thing to have. If the water is reasonably clear, it lets everyone know when to turn towards shore.

If night diving from shore entry you’ll probably need marker lights at exit point. The shore gets to be one dark mass at night.

Defo a yellow filter for mask and camera with a Blue Flouro light to watch the show! Do not use a UV light as damages the coral but Flouro blue LED perfect.

I didn't know glowsticks were bright on infrared. Illuminating tip!

Just started using an LED tank light for night and cavern dives. After an exploding glow stick incident (think the Predator blood) the reusable LED is also more environmentally friendly. Follow the little blue Light Saber to find me LOL. Thanks for the tips!

GloSticks?!?! As Ocean lovers we should be trying to get away from "one use" plastics. (Not to mention glowing chemicals.) There are alternatives, although I haven't seen Infra red as yet.

Once you're a diver, is it safe to jump into any part of the ocean to go for a dive?

Hello, I know this is a bit off topic but I just got the Apeks WTX 30 wing and the corrugated hose is too long. I was going to switch out to the 12" hose but now am wondering what size inflator hose should I pair with the new 12" corrugated? If anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it.

    Hey Mark,
What is your opinion for the Orcatorch D830 as a primary light?

Chemical lights are a bad idea for our environment. If you want a marker light, get a marker light that uses batteries, preferably rechargeable.
