He didn't honor his oath. His job is to uphold the Constitution and keep the peace. In this case he knew the contact had not violated any laws and he should have informed the complaining party there was nothing he could do. By contacting the individual here he is violating his duty to uphold the Constitution. He is interrogating the person who is polite enough to answer the questions which changes this from a detention to a voluntary discussion. Once he asks the person to leave he is getting close to a detention. We've turned the police into babysitters. They are afraid to tell a person complaining against another that no crime has been committed so there is nothing he can do. At that point the police should leave and get back to their legitimate patrol duties. Unfortunately the American public has bullied the police to the point that they know the law, but they are expected to do far more than the law requires. The officers Oath required him to inform the person who called the police that since no law had been broken there was nothing he could do and then resume his patrol duties. If the person then calls the department and complains that the officer didn't do his or her job that complaint becomes a permanent part of the officers' personnel file and no one will care that the officer did the right thing. The complaint was fully investigated, which the chief will interpret as the police officer failing to placate everyone at the scene. At promotion time all complaints logged against the officer are counted and that becomes a main determining factor which will result in a good police officer being denied promotion over another far less efficient police officer, who excels at licking the right boots and therefore will be promoted. We are ignoring the proper function of police officers and congratulating them for making everyone feel better instead of awarding them for keeping the peace. Maybe that's what we want. People who call the police feel better while criminals are free to rape rob and maim others. Think about that the next time you need the police to apprehend a bad guy who has broken into your house and it takes over an hour for the police to respond. The officer who finally shows up to help you just spent forty five minutes trying to explain to some petty individual why it's not illegal for her neighbor to violate the 36 inch rule when they put their trash cans next to the curb on trash day.
If just one is reached to even think about God and who He is, it is worth everything. Thank you officer for being diligent. God bless us all in these times.

The young men have every right to practice their constitutional right to free speech. I appreciate the police officer. I believe he gave these young men his approval without saying so.

Religion should have nothing to do with an officers level of competence. "Soldiers of our almighty" sounds like the plot to the Handmaids Tale. Hard pass
Agreed, cops are for emergency situations not because a person doesn't like what another is saying. In all odds are those who called in their crowd were using fowl language and exposing themselves in public, they should be charged for other things as well. In public where children may be these people should not be allowed. They use to have buildings made for such people but they closed them down and let the loons run free, some are now even politicians.
I blame 90% of these interactions on the dispatcher taking the callers hurt feelings as an actual need for a police interaction.. Why is the copy even asking these guys to leave. Cops should have just walked right over to the people who called said. They have a right to be here and do what they're doing. Stop calling us for hurt feelings.8
It’s because they have an obligation to help defuse the situation as much as possible, if a person is exercising their right to speak, and others are becoming uncomfortable with it, the officers have an obligation to at least reach out and see if a mutually beneficial arrangement can be made.

yes, surely the people being constantly attacked and having legislation written against their very existence are the "privileged" ones.
Office, thank you for honoring your oath.

Americans consider their liberties to be moral and ethical priorities in their own right - Violating those is likely to be more offensive than anything anyone is saying.
I don’t think the police should even humor the caller. The callers should be warned for suppressing the rights of others.
Calling the police on them is coercion, and suppression of the rights of others ought to be condemned and addressed seriously.
These cry-bully tactics are forcing a free society into bending to their political demands and need to be addressed for the danger they pose.
Ag that’s called being a freakin hypocrite.
@@spracketskooch If americans are "the best" at it, then why are you guys knee deep in the swamp water while the rest of the world is barely in at the ankles?
It’s called facism. They are literally the people that they denounce
Love this Officer through the Grace of God he asks and the preachers don't have to move. God Bless all the Officer and Preachers, may they be protected and covered with the precious blood of Jesus Amen🙏
Religion... the biggest joke ever lol
Amen.❤❤❤
When the LGBT+ community do the nastiest, perversion, adult males/females exposing themselves to children and calling it "pride", I don't recall anyone calling the cops on them. This shows that our elected leaders in the highest office, approves and support this mess. Hello Obiden.
Cop shouldn't even be asking. Instead, they should be educating the sheeple who called.
This was my perspective as well. Wondering if he actually*HAD TO* show up bc of the call? If that's the case, then you're right, he should go to whomever made the call & explain " there's no crime here! He has the same rights as you, so take note for future reference as calls like this are a complete waste of actual EMERGENCY resources... and our time.". I noticed everyone else was praising how he handled this, but I think the aforementioned scenario is the professional & staunch/ memorable way to respond. I don't like that he actually asked "do you wanna go somewhere else?" either! He didn't immediately say "you don't have to", the guy had to ask first in order to get that info. No heroic act here
This is a good cop people!! I've seen cops force people to leave. Kudos, sir, well done
some places you aren't allowed to preach (generally private universities or government land)
Evwn worse than that you look at david lynn at some point they ARRESTED him for that
Oh goodness hello Mr.Officer
It entirely depends on the specific situation whether or not you’re required to leave or doing something illegal.
Well they broke many constitutional rights in the process then.
Never stop preaching the word of God! Jesus didn't give up on us we certainly don't give up on Him!!
Acts 2:38kjv. Luke 24:47kjv.

WOW 😮! A respectful cop. I thought they were make believe. Outstanding!
God bless you guys! Keep preaching God's truth!
Betting someone's feelings got even more hurt when they were told that hurting feelings isn't a crime.
Cop was like, dude I'm sorry I'm just doing my job. U can hear it in his voice.
@user-pg4jg5eh8k he was trying to deescalate the situation whitch is a part of being a cop
he's not doing his job, his job is to uphold the law, no law is being broken, in fact him approaching a law abiding citizen without any reason is breaking the law. he's doing what he was told from higher up, there is a difference.
@@holdmyhand2009 he is not breaking a rule by approaching them and asking them questions. He wouldn't be able to do his job on a daily basis if he couldn't do that
approaching a citizen without reason is against our rights. if a cop wants to talk to us, they better have a good reason. not just because of theirs or someone elses feelings

Cop has to respond to a complaint, even if it's totally dum. Gey guy needed to call the hurt feelings division
An officer that has respect and accepts the law. I like it. I knew a few who were good to people.
yeah every bull is ferdinand
I ain't risking it

Most police officers are honest despite how the Socialist media try to endocrinate you otherwise.
👏🏻
When Jesus got executed, did you cheer on the soldiers for doing their job too?
@@mer_meh romans didnt mess around
Thats a good cop, instantly says "ok" carry on.
Both parties were cordial and respectful toward each other. Love it! All done peacefully.
They shouldn't even send an officer. They should tell the caller it's free speech.
And charge the false caller for wasting police resources, I'd love to see that.
@@KristoffMorgan-m3h Police still have a responsibility to keep the peace it completely reasonable for the police department should want to send someone out to at least check to make sure laws are not broken for all party’s involved and the officers is trying to de-escalate to avoid stuff like assault from happening and you have more freedoms for free speech to the government but you can still get arrested for disorderly conduct if your actions are going to cause harm to the public a good example I could curse at. An officer and be protected by the constitution but if I shout profanity’s at another person as long as they are in fear of bodily harm and injury it’s assault, but I don’t mind, even though I am gay I believe in religious freedom so I just live my life and I let other people live there’s I try to not get involved but religion is a touchy subject for a lot of people. Hope everyone has a good day
@@KristoffMorgan-m3h it’s a great opportunity for this police officer to follow the constitution and protect free speech we need more of this don’t ask him to violate other people writes when he is doing a good job and he is not using his authority to bully ether party he is just trying to de-escalate by asking if one party is willing to leave granted I wish there was more content on the actions of all party’s. I am saying this even with my bias of being LGBT 🏳️🌈 my self I just believe in freedom of speech and religion.
I think having an officer show up, have respectful conversation with the street preacher. Then tell the complainant they've done all the law allows them to is a big AMERICA FUCK YEAH!!! to the complainant.
They had to pacify the LGBTQ.
