Like you said it’s not about men vs women. It’s about how society views men and, more importantly, how we view ourselves and our role in society. It’s important that society recognizes the importance of men’s mental health, but it’s even more critical that we keep track of our own personal mental state. Nobody knows how you feel more than you. We, as men, have to start taking better care of ourselves and society has to change to allow us that space. It is our responsibility to protect and provide for our families but it is also necessary that our families appreciate and support us emotionally and mentally.
