When did Mr B ever get 'As far back" behind plenty of horses" it is when Mr B tries to stay with POJ that he gets beaten further, POJ spreads the field out, I can't remember ever seeing too many horses behind her that you could say were "unlucky" it is a great exhibition race....but it ain't a betting race, What are either of them doing here in a "cheap" Group two? looks like they are both using it as a training exercise to me, That tells me that they both really need the run, they are playing catch up, sure they will be hoping to win but neither camp will lose any sleep over losing, on the other hand the other two horses are looking for a start in the Cox Plate and may be wound right up, I don't think there will be an upset but this race sets up that way and it would not shock me, good luck if you have a bet
@@jameslewin6435 Mr Brightside was doing ZERO work, he went back on purpose, he could have gone forward and worked hard from the start like Pride Of Jenni did but he would have finished closer to last than first if he did. POJ works hard from start to finish, Mr B is NOT capable of doing that, if he works hard ealy she beats him even easier, in the ASM he did not have trouble getting a run, he was coming fast from the 400 to the 100 but after that he was dying on his run, if the race had been another mile, she would have still kept going,they are both great horses, but her comfort zone is highballing in Front, that is NOT his comfort Zone, if she puts the pedal to the Mettle and he tries to go with her, I think that would be a mistake, that ASM was a target race for both of them, both were at their peak, this isn't, I don't think comparing this race to any of their previous clashes in "target" races is a good idea, by the way the race after the ASM, Mr B did exactly what you suggested, he stayed in touch with her......and didn't finish in the top 4
