For shoulder measurement why do we minus for eg if full shoulder is 12inches we minus 2inches so then the full shoulder is 2 ! So why do we minus ?

blouse 6" back neck இருந்தால் armhole 6 3/4" by default என்று chart ல் இருக்கு. but calculation படி cut செய்ய சொல்லும் video வில் C/8=+2 = 7.25" varum. எதை எடுத்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும்?
