Remember to add .73 for Landstar on each load . It’s like 500-1000 per load . Did their demo and that’s good enough. To see . Best to get load above 3.00.
Landstar does take a nice cut for sure. Nox sensors are very common to fail. They operate similar to a o2 sensor for a car but just reads different elements. Super easy to change yourself if you ever wanted to.
@rigobertoespinoza1685 it's most likely nox sensor going out but there's more than 1 on the system. I know the cummins or paccar oem sensor is roughly 700 to 900 depending where you are in the country but you can find aftermarket online for 300ish. Clear codes and keep riding til it comes back on. 😎 Also the truck has a quality sensor as well so it can tell if it's bad def. That's usually rare that def is actually bad
Have you ever looked into Bruce Oakley Trucking? I’ve been watching your channel since landstar and was thinking about coming over but after seeing the rates and how much landstar takes I’m doing way better at Oakley and home every weekend on my way to clearing 180k this year and its been slow
If your goin to stay with a dry van you need to buy a good used trailer. That extra 6 percent goes a long way and landstar doesn't take care of their trailers so dropp and hooks usually don't pan out
I run under landerstar and I have my own trailer. Best thing to do is get in with broker. A lot of the good paying freight doesn’t hit the load board. I did round trip from Columbus oh to Orlando fl for 8400 last week. And another before that down to ft Myers’s for 7600. Still money to be made out there
@raykrv6a Landstar's cut is the same as just about everywhere else when you really crunch the numbers. Insurance, trailer rentals, trip pac, and fuel discount, it all adds up.
I film at the top of the bunk. heat rises... Its hot up here even with it on. And i have to keep relatively cool so i don't look like a sweating greasy guy while filming.
Get your own authority. It was the best thing I ever did. Landstar robbed me way too much.

1000$ is lot,think I would blow casket 1:21 🎉
Ya my truck gave me a code for nox sensors but i erased it. Light hasnt came back after 1k miles. Def could have been bad? Or my sensor is going out.

Ya I'm sure it is the problem is properly identifying its the sensor... Could have been something else very easily.
@@mr3000gtman its a cummins engine its also a box truck with 160k miles only. So idk if the light comes back on then theres definetly a problem.

Is that net or gross?
Might want to get your front end alignment checked after you hit that pot hole
Watch your steer tires closely for irregularities in tire wear
Getting better!
Be a good idea to check your shocks after hitting a hole like that.

@@dougtipton6723 how do you get in with and identify a good broker
I can call Moose and Rocco if you need them to collect 1000 someone shorted you.😉💪
Names of cities can be tricky. Especially WI lol. Wi has a lot of Indian named cities.
Don't see idling your truck when you spent all that money on a apu. Have to work on that. 😊.
APU only points at the bunk. It keeps the bunk cool but everywhere else is a sauna.. even in like 70 degree weather it gets pretty hot.
Thanks bro.
Anytime
The amount with error did not have 100% reduced to 65%, it was prereduced. The amount was correct, just displayed differently.
Ya I caught that after some investigating. Just got confused because it wasn't formatted correctly.
So landstar took 41,000 ? What the hell did you get for that?
I see that you have a freightliner Cascadia how many miles are on it if you don’t mind me asking?
225k. High idle time due to being a former port service truck for Knight Transportation though so the idle time is closer to 300k
Are you including your deadhead miles into the total?
Yes. They are listed as "EMPTY" miles
So did you get your pay discrepancies taken care of your doing good though. I’ve seen that the Great Lakes area has a lot of good loads
Yeah I was actually paid correctly when i looked at my account. They just had it improperly formatted so it made it look like i was underpaid.
Have you thought about training for night you would be making way more
Not really... I wouldnt like sharing a truck with some random guy. Not my style
Did the fix your pay? Update please.
only 100 000 grand a year? ouch.
Landstar's cut is pretty big. Of course he will probably have to buy a trailer if he leaves Landstar.
@@raykrv6a 35 percent is ridiculous . Is it 100 000 net?
@@raykrv6a and for 45000 a year to landstar you'd be stupid not to buy a trailer. one year pays for it.

@@nattydreadlocks1973 not if you book your own loads. And one year of them taking 45000 you can buy your own trailer. it's not a good deal trust me.
I'm interested in joining Landstar. Can we connect?
What is your average mpg?
8.2 ever since the APU install.
What software is that spreadsheet
Google spreadsheets. Nothing specialized. The format is in the about section
Have you thought about hauling food grade tanks? If you think about it they don't load them on rail cars. Dry van is horrible.......
Why are you idling for ac I thought you had apu ?
The sun will always beat the APU especially if he’s somewhere in the South or Southwest.
@Thomas20Smith i disagree my thermoking apu keeps the cab cool I do Florida every 2 weeks and have no problem even with the curtains open

Try switching freight dude… or lease companies.
They are all the same
@@johnmerlo5005 I’m going to disagree, because I’m living what I’m suggesting. It’s definitely better. Not perfect, just better. And sustainable.
