    What a nonsense game. It doesn't make any sense to analyse something like that. It would be more helpful to analyse 1400 - 1800 games. This is just crap.

    A tragic story of a King who barely survived a horrifying siege, but lost his wife to the invading forces. He then went insane from grief and trauma, to the point of dancing pointlessly in the middle of the battlefield, only to lose everything and get sadistically toyed with and eventually killed by his enemies whilst his last loyal soldier watches helplessly in terror. I cri everytim.

      That’s the story of many games in chess, the king runs away from danger when his woman protected him from danger along with the rest of the castle, she died in sacrifice for one of the enemy forces and when the king ordered a counter attack, it was initially successful and it brought hope to the army. After a long battle, we were in a position where on side was up soldiers and all he had to do was send his forces in accordingly to bring the end of the war but he fails to order them in the right way and gets his last right hand man killed in front of his owns eyes and after the enemies held him hostage and gave him a beating, he was finally killed and that was the end of an era. Sad story of the white king

      Related to league I recall smurfing with a friend in a gold overwatch match and I was just sort of chilling and not doing anything much. Then the other team started to trash talk my team because we didn't do very well. They had also brought over some toxicity from the last match I wasn't in so they were just both being shitty to one another.
      I got so annoyed that since we didn't take the first point we were in a lose or draw situation. So I tryharded and made sure we drew so that everyone's time was wasted.

    I always find these instructive, thank you. However, it would be helpful if you told us what the time setting was and if one of the players was ever in time trouble. I make a lot of blunders, but in general, the less the time available, the worse (and more frequent) the blunder. My guess is that this was a blitz game. If it were even a rapid game, some of the moves would be, as you stated, inexcusable.

    I'm not even gonna laugh at black. I'm legitimately angry and frustrated and watching this has soured my mood. This man did nothing but eff around until he said "You know how about losing a queen for a rook lol" BRO JUST CAPTURE SOMETHING WITH YOUR ROOK OR BISHOP BRO HOLY SHIT

    chess is never about intelligence, it's just another "thing" you can do and get better over time by grinding it.
    yes some are more naturally talented than others, the same as any sport or skill or game or talent or instrument etc etc.

    • @brubie7584
      @brubie7584 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I guess playing an instrument doesn't take skill either it's just something you can grind over time to get good at.
      Chess is a lot about pattern recognition and visualization and to an extent memorization, which while commonly associated with intelligence isn't the same thing

    • @frankjohnson123
      @frankjohnson123 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      "chess is never about intelligence" and "some are more naturally talented than others" are contradictory, and while you can improve by mindless grinding it's much better to study with purpose. Work smarter, not harder. This is also the worst type of video you can make this claim about because it's just a quick online game between two casual chess players. When you get to real competitions then out-thinking and out-strategizing matter a lot more.

    I seriously wonder about the accuracy algorithm. I played a 15 move mate yesterday. I played the best move every time, but one move behind where the analysis wanted it. That offset was one blunder by my opponent where I waited.
    50% accuracy...

    speaking of going deep into the game without moving pieces, check out one of Alice Lee's recent games against Irinia Krush, late in the American Cup. I can't remember which game exactly, but Lee's pieces remained unmoved for a VERY LONG time!

  • @feelshowdy

    I think that struggle to get that really easy queen+rook mate happened because the player was used to their opponents resigning when they got a huge advantage that they never actually learned how to mate properly.

    • @melissagrenier2200
      @melissagrenier2200 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's still surprising that a ladder mate wouldn't be easy to figure out on the fly even if you've never done it before (or even played chess before). It's the simplest most brain-dead mating pattern.
