    I remember when the Chevy Luv first hit the market. I fell in love and have always wanted one. Can't remember the last time I saw one on the road.

    The job came out fantastic. I tried installing a carpet kit. It literally looks like Stevy Wonder installed it.

      Thanks! I thought they were really nice as well. Wish I had a dark grey or black arm rest to go with it. I plan on applying some rust preventative to the whole underbody sometime. Also have some boiled linseed oil to preserve patina without additional rust. But I’m going to drive it for a while now and hopefully get my 4x4 going before winter weather sets in

      @@fabricobbletech If you clean the arm rests up really good you can rattle can them black. My door panels were tan before I painted them. My sun visors were blue. Paint holds up pretty good.

      @@fabricobbletech I think I used rustoleum satin black but vinyl paint would do the job.

    Just ordered me up a pair of those awesome sill plates. I'll let them know you sent me! I only wish they were longer than the factory and covered the entire sill.

      @@fabricobbletech That's a big reason why I watch your videos. Editing out all the pit falls gives a false sense of simplicity. I see you had new door seals at the end of the video. Are you going to release anything about the seal install? Mine are trash and I keep seeing a lot of people have fitment issues on the FB group and was wondering what your experience was. Great work all around though. I got excited when I saw you had another video released!

    Would it be better to leave a weep hole in the middle of the floor panels for drainage?

      Tough question because that hole will also allow ingress from underneath. It's definitely one I have pondered, though

    The only thing left unrestored on my 73 is the crank window seals. Damn I wish I could find them.

      Is, there a chance that you could make homemade crank window seals copying the ones that were in there in the first place? That MIGHT solve your problem, just an idea though.

      Are you talking about the felting at the top, or the seal at the bottom of the window. There are universal replacements for both on amazon.

      Ordered it from Thailand I think on EBay if I recall correctly. Either that or the guy from Thailand that sells on Facebook

      I ordered these off of Amazon. Pretty generic and just a little shorter than ideal on the seat side.
