Definitely Maybe is a short film inspired from the short film "SIGNS"
This is our group finals for a school project. A simple love story between a couple and their life.

I think that the reason that there are so many hateful comments is because they are jealous and don't feel the emotion in this film...It's more romantic and cute to write notes rather than fb or txt...Great job on the film, i loved it and really felt the emotion :)

The first piece of paper he gave her asked "will you marry me"
And she said no, he was heartbroken. He moved out of wherever he was, or just picked up all his stuff from her house, and took it home.
She leaves the notes, and they form a bond, and by the end when she reveals herself, her emphatic no that lead him to despair, has become a "definitely maybe".
Maybe is crossed out, leaving the answer to the original question as "definitely"
Plus, in the one frame, she's wearing the engagement ring
For a thirteen minute film it actually drags some how
Watching short love films just became a new hobby for me, starting last night. Lmao, I was simply watching Vines, and I got all the way to here. It must be fate.
the story is confusing, did the girl rejected the guy at first? I think you should clear out the points you have to relay to the viewers, the camera direction was nice :) Kudos to you !

when the frame was cropped to ultra wide screen the top of the actor's head during close up shots were removed. giving me an impression that the frame was, you know, cropped. 😉
I liked how it was directed. there wasn't any overacting and the emotions conveyed were just fine.
the music towards the end didn't seem to change or it failed to support the scene in giving additional texture.
but the film is not corny, it's not awkward, and definitely not boring.

The front is is a flash of what will happen later. This guy moves here and get the letters. Then they meet up.He then
gives her the note. She says she cant decide and he gets upset. She then leaves the scene. Soon after they meet
again and she gives him the note. It has two choices... Maybe or definitely :/ She then crosses out maybe leaving definitely. Then they get married. quite a lovely video. :)

Excellent cinematography!!! Story with no dialogue at all, so good :) I was wondering if the guy was Filipino and when I saw the spoon and fork I was like yuuup haha.
It took me a little while to fully understand this, but I have an idea...Since the pink paper said "Definitely Maybe", I think the guy gave her the paper as a choice whether the girl wanted to begin an actual relationship outside the sticky notes. Basically, the story isn't in order. It starts with him moving into the neighborhood and then the beginning and the end show two different scenarios. 1st scenario-They get together (beg &end) 2nd scenario-She rejects him and breaks his heart (beg)

I think they love each other. At first, she refuses because he confesses so suddenly. Then, she can be sure about her feeling. He moves to another place just because of her. She tries to give them a new beginning. Happy Ending. So, just my self-thinking. ^^
