The walkingpad c1 is perfect for people who would like to go for a walk at any time of day. You can walk early in the morning or late at night, even in all types of weather. The poor air quality makes it really hard to get outside and exercise. I'd much rather be inside and use something like this.

I don't really get why people are saying it's so slow, it's a walkingpad, an actual treadmil for running/jogging will cost you way more.
I wonder, is it still working after 2 years? That is my biggest worry, the 1 year warranty seems to be extremely short for such a high value item with moving parts..

Mohammed Omar one difference is that with the C1 your speed calories distance covered etc appears on your hand held remote and if paired, on your mobile phone. R1 I believe has that data showing in the dot matrix screen near your feet.
Mine arrived today. Stopped working after 5 minutes! One of the buttons on the remote became stuck after one push. I would definitely not recommend this product.
to give some perspective, its good for people that work at home or sit in desks all day. by incorporating the walking pad and a standing desk, can significantly better your health rather than just sit all day.
I would only use this product when there is raining, snowing, storms etc etc...its very useful for me since i lives in western washington state that tends to rain so much and there is like 15 days of raining during may and june!! Its ridiculous and i wanted to walk out more but they kept bring raining to my area :(

I have walked 364km with this so far. Still works like new. I only had to buy some new lubricant for the belt.

If you can place something under it (to simulate at least a 2% incline) it will be better.

You have to remove the four screw on the remote and then loop the lanyard string in the little groves, and then of course put it back together.
