    So guys after sinking my brand new 2023 Can-Am Outlander 700 XMR.
    I had to flush all fluids 6 times just to get the milkiness out of the oil.
    Just making sure i'm going through all the procedures so all the water
    is out of the engine, transmissin, differential.

    Great video man. Super helpful if someone is sunk. Even for regular maintenance too! Cool to see it stripped down as well. Cheers.

    When i sunk my quad. the best advice i found. was get some cheap 10w40 ATV oil like a from local walmart. change the oil. run for 10 mins or threw 1 radiator cycle. to that the engine heats up fairly nice. change oil filter each time.. i could of done this twice and been fine. but i did this 3 times, and the 4th i put the 5w50 polaris oil back in it. been clean oil ever since. my water got in threw the exhaust. my vent lines never got submerged. I wonder if and when there will be snorkle extensions for this quad.

      I commented mid video. Lmao. Atleast when you dunked your quad your rear rear tire didn’t catch your ankle and drag you under water , cut ya up hood in the process. Lmao. But I had fun that’s all the matters

      Did you hydro lock your machine? is that why you have to rebuild the head

    I put diesel fuel in my crank case then 2quarts oil 1 qt diesel mixed and it’ll dry up all the water

    Just a question for you. On your video u said ur dealer or Can Am Rep said use 75w140 in rear diff and 75w90 in front. I have a 2023 Outlander 700XT and ownrrs manual says only 75w90 in both diffs and 75w140 in Transmission. I know Can Am changes things up so was wondering if this is one of those changes?

    • @G-Boyz.Outside
      @G-Boyz.Outside  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sorry I'm just going back to you bro🍻 Yeah I asked the mechanic at the dealer and he said to use 75w140 Rear Diff & Tranny & use 75w90 Front Diff. But I didn't check the owner's manual I just took their word on it

    Is there no way to get it completely water free without doing all those oil changes like just letting it dry out? Just curious as im still just getting into the Off-road world and in my head you could probably just let it sit and dry for a while. My thinking might be completely wrong tho

    • @G-Boyz.Outside
      @G-Boyz.Outside  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well the gears cylinder and rings are steel If you just let it sit to dry out it will create rust. It's the best thing to do for less chances of rust happening. 🍻

      If you sink it, you should always drain ALL the oils right away and you would have to flush with cheap oil multiple times while running it 30-45 seconds in between until oil look clean and clear. Then you’ll put in the good oils

      @G-Boyz.Outside ah for some reason the possibility of rust didn't cross my mind, thank you.

    What are your thoughts on the suspension not having grease points... on the bushings or the driveshaft...?

    • @G-Boyz.Outside
      @G-Boyz.Outside  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I know there's not even one grease nipple on this machine but there's no squeaking and I already have put on 1,116km been through mud and water.

      Same. I was worried about the drive shaft... once again, thanks for your reply and content. You sold on me on the Xmr 700 I was luck enough to get my hands on one right away. Hasn't disappointed at all.

    Trade it in as new ,then the next poor bastard can wonder what he did that made it start smoking and spin the bearings,,,thats why a used atv or utv is a big risk purchase,, you wont ever know that the 500 miles wear underwater and sucking mud
