Video was fantastic! I loved how you explained so clearly, and the editing was on point. Your unique perspective really sets your channel apart. Looking forward to more awesome content from you! 👍
@adfgfds Yes it was. It comes with a black rubber sleeve on it and it also is some what closed at the one end so the graphite piston can't fall off. I remove the rubber sleeve and shorten the actuator with a diamond cut off disc and a dremel like tool.

The name is laminar flow Stirling engine, not lamina flow Stirling engine. Lamina is a noun and syntactically you need the word to be an adjective since it is modifying "flow".

hi, do you happen to remember the actuator spec you used? wondering what material and size it was... tks!
You're pyrex test tube didn't have a lip on the outside of it? Or did you take it off?
Was the Actuator from the free sample you can request on airpot?
@BuildSomethingUseful
Ah alright neat. I just requested a free sample actuator from airpot. How long did it take to ship to your house?
are the data have to be sharp? Like the grams of steel wool and stuff
which test tube did u use??
Is it important that the piston is made of graphite? Could it be of plastic?
What temp does that cylinder need to reach to start?
Is there an explenation of how this construction works?
wouldn't aluminium shavings work as well as your steel?
it must holed the tube ?
can I buy your Stirling engine? please I need this.
@adfgfds It's been a while since I ordered my free sample. I think it was just a few days though.
