Gina has to feel the eyes are on her. Sixteen and Stray KIds they were all trainees, nizi project there was 4 trainees, and season 2 nizi there are 4 or 5 trainees (not sure). So there isn't anyone under the same pressure as her to talk about it with. She is only 13. She'll be fine and once they get to Korea she'll get more buddy buddy with the others.
Exactly JYp knows she got everything he needs in this group all that she gotta do is relax n mingle more with the girls, build strong relation with them cuz they're her future members n team!!
I love the progression of Savanna! She definitely showed songs real potential it's so great to see! She's for sure one of my favourite contestants! But mad props to Camilla for that performance! Overall Gina still seems the most all rounder despite the feedback from JYP. I can see her filling a lead vocal/dance combination role for sure The star quality/ talent show is my favourite part of these audition shows I can't wait!!

Especially if the contestants have watched Sixteen and NiziPro 1 and seen the variety of “talents” and what non-singing/-dancing stuff gets the strongest response, I grow more eager to see how that influence shapes what eclectic things each new round of contestants elect to show off.
That's right it's not necessarily about changing the style bcs yeah some parts are just meant to be softer or harder for dynamic purposes. The problem with Camila's audition was that her falsettos were weak & shaky. The reason JYP told her to sing it with full voice instead was so that she can be confident that she can do it even without having to sound thin which eventually will make her breath overpower the sound. Like he said, the sound needs to be balanced with the air used then only she'll be able to support it well so by practicing the right amount of strength needed she can get a grasp of how to control that register. But she definitely fixed it here, her falsettos were stable. & it shows when her vibratos aren't as messy, it means she's not too breathy. & her full voice sounds more open when she hit the high note. Instead of trying to squeeze a bright tone to go up, she just let her voice free to hit it. I agree her stage presence is still a little awkward, she was enjoying yes but the connection with audiences is inconsistent. Meanwhile Melissa is a natural performer, I was entranced throughout.
That’s makes sense. Sometimes if you’re not getting the result you want, you need to change up how you approach a note. She definitely worked hard and gained a lot of stability in that time. I’m very impressed with how diligent she was! I agree as well. Melissa’s command of the stage was incredible! I think the two will make an amazing pair if they’re together on the same team.
I was a little surprised Savannah didn’t get a stone, really liked her performance. But overall I kind of expected there to be less stones given out vocally lol, still think Savannah, Christina and Lexus will get it at the end
I think the big thing that kept her from getting it was her breathing. If she masters proper breathing technique she’ll get it no problem! Same, honestly. And I agree, as long as they show progress, they’ll get the stone.
Although Savannah has potential, her singing was often very pitchy and her breath control needs more work. Remember these vocal performances were edited to sound better than they actually are, that's why you can hear the voices sounding double (one channel for raw vocals and the other for the processed vocals).
IMO Savanna has a great potential cuz of beautiful voice color , self determination to make a progress and also having hidden weapon to show Rapper . JYP pointed the same thing as you do "Breathing is Key "

17:30 This is when my respect for JYP went way up. I thought, wow he really knows what he is doing! I knew nothing about him, dance or even singing and was so impressed when he pulled those notes out of Savanna.
I may not always agree with him, but I do respect his experience! He knows how to encourage and help build successful groups. And he certainly has the experience to help others improve! 😊
I think the confusion about JYP's comments on Camila's falsetto in the first episode came because they used autotune that got rid of the shakiness of the note. And that made it seem like he was just commenting on a style choice. I went back to Ep 1 and it sounds really different from the flashback clip they showed here.

It's a pity that Savanna, Lexi, and Cristina didn't get Vocal Stones. Wasn't there a mistake in the practice process? I think it will get better if they receive systematic training. On the other hand, Camilla improved tremendously from the preliminaries. Judging by the breadth of her progress, I don't want to dispute that Jyp gave her number one spot. It is the KPOP training system that focuses more on motivation. But to me, Melissa sounds more comfortable. Of course, Camilla's song is not an easy song. After all, if she gets used to what she does better, if she gets more comfortable, won't she become more comfortable with her listeners too?

Yeah... on star quality is to showcase of personality 😂 , to win JYP/audiences hearts ( at least win JYP and the trainers hearts in this show ) 😊 . Vocalist ranking doesn't have complaints much besides savana not given stone unlike the dancing rankings in the live 😂 .
I think KG is number one in terms of purely vocal skills. As far as I know, JYP likes flat high notes very much. I think that's why Camilla got extra points. Honestly, I don't agree with JYP's standards I prefer a strong tone. KG's voice is pretty and has a lot of volume, so when she debuts, I think KG will be in charge of the main part of the song and Camilla will be in charge of the high part. JYP himself knew that KG was the most important thing in singing and publicly told KG his intention, but he did not rate KG as the best. I'm a little dissatisfied with that. Motivation and stimulation are also important, but KG is relatively not receiving much attention from the public. Aside from whether it was a really fair evaluation, I hope JYP will give her a strategic spotlight for the group's success. My opinion is that she shouldn't simply be chosen and made her debut. She has a canary voice, so she will greatly influence the musical color of the group. That's the old formula of K-pop. Anyway, third place is a bit harsh for KG. JYP is sometimes annoying for Koreans. I will stop complaining here and wait for the next episode

One of the contestants always stands out because of his dark expression. I can't honestly say who it is. It could be my own feeling or it's because of editing. Her talent is outstanding, but it's a pity that she doesn't show a bright expression.

One of the contestants always stands out because of his dark expression. I can't honestly say who it is. It could be my own feeling or it's because of editing. Her talent is outstanding, but it's a pity that she doesn't show a bright expression.
