1:16:45 The enemy Elite shrine prevents buildings in a medium radius. Killing the Elite who spawns at Night will allow normal building placement. The Dark Crystals wave spawn points also prevent buildings in a small radius. In rare cases, RNG map gen will troll you with gold veins inside not buildable places.
I have been eyeing They Are Billions for a while but never took the plunge because I wasn't all that sold on the setting. But this game being set in Fantasy *and* having Co-op now as well? That's a definite buy. Thanks for showing it off.
I've been following quill since paradox games were good! How cool to see you two playing together!! This game is neat. The obvious comparison is definitely "They are billions" but maybe more polished? I think From Glory to Goo has the potential to be the best of these survival RTS' with the added wrinkle of the ship in orbit and the firepower/econ it can lend to the fight. But right now I do think this is the best game in this little sub genre.
Enjoyed this, another game would be great. A few items of note: Enemies spawn on the map at intial generation, they don't constantly spawn from anywere. The exception to this rule is the Death Night, monsters will spawn anywhere the fog covers, so you can prevent this wiith buildings (limited range) or the fire sconce (larger range). You should build Warehouses near resource collection points (Wood, Stone, Iron, Gold) as they increase the cap of resouyrces you can hold, but importantly increase the amount of resources you collect. Seige Factory is huge, Order get Catapults which are just disgusting long range damage, but the other mobile units are also nasty, especially if you unlock the stun ability on their tech tree. Upgrade your Grand Ballista towers ASAP, the standard ones quickly become obselete and just don't have the speed or firepower to deal with larger hordes. Also, destroying the crystal just makes the Death Night happen on that night, rewarding you with more crystals for your efforts.
I really hope they put in some good Sam Raimi quotes... But its nice to see an RTS reminiscent of WC3 and SC. I miss playing them... Age of Mythology was another favorite of mine, but Warcraft has my heart. I also miss the competitive modes, like footmen frenzy and such! Good times. 😂

The surprise coop update with the 1.0 was all it was missing for me to want this.
I recommend playing it with Quill
But does it have a 3 player for me quil and you
Who knew coop would be so fun and challenging
Hardly a surprise when they've been planning it for a year
I think all the update did was add co op

I've been watching quill for almost a decade and using his Unity tutorials, too. It's wild to see him playing with you!
that...was an experience lol definitely want another episode with you two!
The man, the myth, the legend, quill18
Bro, I’ve watched quill for nearly a decade, no idea 2 channels I watch all the time would be in the same video
6:09 the correct answer to "just the tip?" Was "only for a second"
not mentioning the woods is just rude at this point
We're gonna be okay @1:42:15 out of a 1:51:10 long video lmao
perfect, I was curious of the game. So great to watch one of my favorite YTs play it
1x1 wall is usually referred to as a scratching post in they are billions.
1:07:15 "you have beautiful eyes"
"*chuckles* thank you."
"smash smash smash smash"
Uuum... ok.
If quill played this without you, the first 50 minutes of the video would be paused explaining the UI.
Thank you AA, for unpausing.

Yee love the From Glory to Goo mention - it was on the tip of my tongue at the end there

Our boy AA dropping the most subtle breaking bad reference ever.
Damn that intro was info dense
A Quill & AA Rimworld would be fun to watch.
Divide the map in half, split the colonists, and see who lives longer.
Both these guys are monumentally intelligent.
1:28:00 Treaty of Tordesillas (Looked up how to spell it)
"The scaling on those death nights is insane."
Size of Final Stand death night -> yes
@8:27 is why I kept watching 😂
lets goo ambiguos vid love ur vids man been followig for a while :D
12:30 Was not expecting that reference...

Hi! I would like to mention a new game came out in Steam. Settlements rising.
The sexual tension in this collaberation was immeasurable.
If I've learned nothing else from this stream, it's that it's pronounced "wood," not "would not."
We Kick Butt Everyday, Yeah
8:29 AA is 12 confirmed. 🤣🤣
I like your funny words froggy man
영상 올려 주셔서 감사해요
Are the archers still getting pushed forward by your melee troops, into the enemy? I hated that...
So the chocolate covered Jonny pops are a 3 out of ten
I miss watching quill and arumba.
Knife is messer in German...
And couteau in French
this rocks ples more
The only co-op game that is remotely like this is Conan Unconquered.
More please
Will you make videos playing campaign? ^^
All your base...
Your partner makes me so glad you never 'try' to be funny
