Just got the flooring in this weekend. I’ll be sure to post a before and after update as it comes together. Be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already.
Just a question here , would you consider a window dormer for the loft ? Also it would be really great to converse on my build , I need to run some ideas by some like you or deek that has ideas and experience .
A dormer in the loft would definitely make it roomier up there. You can always message me in the comments here or on Reddit (u/BigGuyInATinyHouse). If you’re looking for a place to get advice and bounce ideas off others, I also recommend joining a couple of subreddits (i.e. interest groups) like r/tinyhouses, r/tinyhomes, or r/carpentry. You’ll find lots of folks there willing to share their know-how, experience and opinions.
@@bigguyinatinyhouse Wondering about your floor storage? Can you go into that more? Hatches? How do you use them? I was thinking about that too! Need storage in a small place!
Wish I could… but I barely have enough time to build this one. But I encourage you to consider doing it yourself (if there isn’t some medical reason you can’t). It took me 3+ years of planning and scavenging materials and figuring things out. Learn as you go. If I can do it, you can do it.
Can't wait to see this finished! Such a beautiful design.

10' or 12' wide? Perfect ❤️
In all it is approximately 8’ x 12’: An 8x8 main room + the 4x4 side room/closet.
@@bigguyinatinyhouse This year I'm starting wall's! Floor framing! 12'X 16' or 20' !
Can’t wait to see it!

Somehow you managed to design an A-Frame that’s less useable space than a traditional A-Frame.
🤣 Wish I could take all the credit. The design came from @relaxshacksDOTcom
lol- how so?
a frames are just so impractical
Would you build this for me and if I paid for the materials and your labor?

@@bigguyinatinyhouse how much actual build time? Was it just you or others too?
