The crazier part is on the GTARP reddit they think Summit baited him into acting like a jackass. Its actually crazy that anyone could watch the whole conversation from start to finish and come away thinking not thinking Kyle is in the wrong. He just acted like a complete jackass.

The best part for me was when he used Summit getting gunned down as an example to defend himself, immediately realizing the cops were wrong in that situation and got in trouble for it and summit calls him out immediately for it. Kyle joining the call was the best thing for hutch, so mommy and daddy can fight it out and forget he even was part of the problem.
The more Kyle says "I don't care what you think" the more he actually proves that he really does care and takes to heart what people think about him. Dude has a crazy fragile ego and puts up a big wall trying to protect it.
just got into GTA NP through Ming and I thought Kyle could be funny throughout their tom foolery. Kyle's no longer a cop and through all these past clips I can see why

This is why I fucking love when Summit plays NP. He is so far out the meta, that he always sees things for what they really are, and then he challenges it. I know it gets uncomfortable some times, but this always shake things up, and gets the talk going on some of the bad habits that has been developed on that server.
It's not even Meta, this is literally how Roleplay works. The Cops should be valuing everyone's life at the end of the day and not doing breaches "just because we don't do them often and we ASSUME there are only 2 people" when as Summit said there could have been a lot of time in set up that just got ruined by a call by someone who shouldn't really be making that call in the first place. Not to mention, neither of them were SWAT and SWAT are the only ones who should be taking those shots. There's a lot of RP fuck ups from Hutch and the Cops involved. People forget Cops get everything handed to them, they don't have to grind for things, so a Cops time is far less valuable than a Civs.

I pretty much agree with 100% of what Summit said about this scenario. Blau talks about "we need to accept that people will make mistakes" but you can't use that as an excuse forever. At some point there needs to be SOME kinda accountability from the cops. IMO there needs to be some kinda "paid leave" rule for cops where they have to go off duty for like an hour. They can still RP as a civilian, but not on duty.
Yeah cops need to get punished way more. Also understand crims side. A idea I had was simply FORCE everyone to have both a cop and a crim character. You go to jail on your crim u play your cop till your crim punishment is over, u get suspended go on your crim until your suspension is over. It would help both sides understand one another while also allowing punishment that wouldn't effect you OOC cuz if your main character gets punished it doesn't effect your ability to continue to role play.
Well making a mistake and then owning up to it is one thing like yeah its going to happen but Kyle is open about his stance that its not a mistake so he's just going to keep doing it
ok lets take this to an irl point of view. if cops breach a bank and get a hostage killed irl they are gonna get an ear full and a suspension. if they shoot someone they are to hand their badge in until an investigation is done if the shooting was valid or not. in no pixel you shoot someone just to shoot someone. there is no accountability in this server for cops and feel like they can do anything rn.
Kyle immediately comes in and is on the back foot. Deflects every single point they made. They get frustrated because it’s inherently frustrating when you’ve seen the vod, know the situation, and Kyle comes in and ignores every single point. Biggest example is how they made the “wait on the train, make a plan, insta go to jail” point like 6 times and his only response was that he gets bored talking to one crim. Kyle made no effort to actually address anything they brought up. Then starts getting aggro because they’re frustrated that he’s not addressing anything they think he did wrong. I like summits idea about “putting them on suspension” for 120months of in game time while getting drilled about why they are there and how to prevent it. It would create equal time down on both sides plus the fact that it’ll sate some of the rage on the crims side on unequal time down.

The largest problem with NoPixel PD is when they ask themselves the question: "What is our #1 objective in this scenario?" Instead of answering "The safety of civilians and officers", they answer "Stopping the bad guy".
“I care about everyone’s time” “I don’t care about my time” “I don’t want to sit there for 30 minutes” “I don’t care if their time is wasted” Kyle is all over the place. First it’s “my time doesn’t matter”, and then I don’t want to stand there for 30 minutes while they hack. From now on, crims should just have two people on hostage at all times, and then make sure you kill the hostage if something stupid happens. Hell, kill the hostage at every job. If you’re gonna get fucked by 8+ cops on a store or something might as well make it worse for the cop 🤷♂️ Get that hostage some money from suing PD for getting them clapped.

I see it like when a real cop kills someone or is even in a shootout at all(I think), they go on leave, I'm pretty sure its got a certain name but I dont remember. So when No Pixel cops are in a shootout and especially when they down someone they should go on leave for a few hours or whatever. Really good idea actually.
The only problem with suspension idea is having the process of finding those responsible (when it isnt extremely obvious), and if multiple cops are suspended, how will that affect the cops vs crims ratio in that duration. But it could get more content for cops though, have investigations, police court where cops can debate and discuss, maybe reduce the suspension if they have good reasoning or remorse. Although i don't watch a whole lot of RP so not sure if anything is currently already implemented or not.

Heard this entire thing live. Just wanted to take a moment to appreciate Kyle basically contradicting himself multiple times and describing himself with choice insults/barbs he threw towards the guys. Punish the characters, not the streamers. Fine each officer (per hostage, a big enough fine to actually hurt their bank) that was directly involved in the misconduct, and suspend them from duty for 24 hours.
No, other streamers (Kyliebitkin for example) have gotten a 7 day ban for this kind of stuff. She was banned when she rolled up on scene and shot someone with a gun out not noticing that there was a hostage. This case is even more cut and dry than that. They should get atleast the same treatment.
Them not following procedures, "get the hostage out safely and not get them in danger" is Police Misconduct and should honestly be met with like a 24 hour suspension IC. Like, fining them sure, but that's not a punishment it's just a slap on the wrist.

It is clear violation of server rules, not IC PD SOPs. Therefor that should be a cut and dry case of issuing bans. The real problem of NoPixel is the inconsistency of admins in their decisions. It is cop biased and even sometimes OOC streamer biased, would you act like that in a position of power in any other branche, it would get you sued and probably jobless after that.

Coming from a D&D background, and being a Visual Development artist, developing stories and characters is super important. Police can heavily control the narrative on bank and robbery scenes. Regaurdless of crime characters rep or experience, the police should act as a DM and help weave a narrative and experience taking cues from the other persons character during a robbery scene. its about the content and story, not getting the Dub. Summit is right, they get spoon fed scenes, so they should they should be trying to add to or elevate the scene while keeping with their rules. How many times a good DM just says "hell with the rules lets see where this goes", creating memorable moments should be their jobs. XD

I know it gets uncomfortable some times, but this always shake things up, and gets the talk going on some of the bad habits that has been developed on that server.
It's not even Meta, this is literally how Roleplay works. The Cops should be valuing everyone's life at the end of the day and not doing breaches "just because we don't do them often and we ASSUME there are only 2 people" when as Summit said there could have been a lot of time in set up that just got ruined by a call by someone who shouldn't really be making that call in the first place. Not to mention, neither of them were SWAT and SWAT are the only ones who should be taking those shots. There's a lot of RP fuck ups from Hutch and the Cops involved.
People forget Cops get everything handed to them, they don't have to grind for things, so a Cops time is far less valuable than a Civs.

I pretty much agree with 100% of what Summit said about this scenario. Blau talks about "we need to accept that people will make mistakes" but you can't use that as an excuse forever. At some point there needs to be SOME kinda accountability from the cops. IMO there needs to be some kinda "paid leave" rule for cops where they have to go off duty for like an hour. They can still RP as a civilian, but not on duty.
Yeah cops need to get punished way more. Also understand crims side. A idea I had was simply FORCE everyone to have both a cop and a crim character. You go to jail on your crim u play your cop till your crim punishment is over, u get suspended go on your crim until your suspension is over. It would help both sides understand one another while also allowing punishment that wouldn't effect you OOC cuz if your main character gets punished it doesn't effect your ability to continue to role play.

The only problem with suspension idea is having the process of finding those responsible (when it isnt extremely obvious), and if multiple cops are suspended, how will that affect the cops vs crims ratio in that duration. But it could get more content for cops though, have investigations, police court where cops can debate and discuss, maybe reduce the suspension if they have good reasoning or remorse.
Although i don't watch a whole lot of RP so not sure if anything is currently already implemented or not.
I've seen this idea so many times and they will never implement it sadly, I don't know why but they just won't allow cops getting punishment

Pretty dishonest to not even consider that from his POV (like he stated) he was just messaging Hutch and was brought into a call where 2 people who were obviously heated about a situation he didn't think much about were attacking him over it (at times personally especially from Judd.) I disagree with how Kyle handled the yacht situation, but I really can't say I blame the guy for having a "well fuck you too" response to these guys when they aren't even really involved or anyone with authority on the matter.

Just wanted to take a moment to appreciate Kyle basically contradicting himself multiple times and describing himself with choice insults/barbs he threw towards the guys. Punish the characters, not the streamers. Fine each officer (per hostage, a big enough fine to actually hurt their bank) that was directly involved in the misconduct, and suspend them from duty for 24 hours.
No, other streamers (Kyliebitkin for example) have gotten a 7 day ban for this kind of stuff. She was banned when she rolled up on scene and shot someone with a gun out not noticing that there was a hostage. This case is even more cut and dry than that. They should get atleast the same treatment.
Them not following procedures, "get the hostage out safely and not get them in danger" is Police Misconduct and should honestly be met with like a 24 hour suspension IC. Like, fining them sure, but that's not a punishment it's just a slap on the wrist.

It is clear violation of server rules, not IC PD SOPs. Therefor that should be a cut and dry case of issuing bans. The real problem of NoPixel is the inconsistency of admins in their decisions. It is cop biased and even sometimes OOC streamer biased, would you act like that in a position of power in any other branche, it would get you sued and probably jobless after that.
The reason to discuss this scenario is to prevent further issues, I'm happy that Summit and them brought it up

Coming from a D&D background, and being a Visual Development artist, developing stories and characters is super important. Police can heavily control the narrative on bank and robbery scenes. Regaurdless of crime characters rep or experience, the police should act as a DM and help weave a narrative and experience taking cues from the other persons character during a robbery scene. its about the content and story, not getting the Dub. Summit is right, they get spoon fed scenes, so they should they should be trying to add to or elevate the scene while keeping with their rules. How many times a good DM just says "hell with the rules lets see where this goes", creating memorable moments should be their jobs. XD
Each time a hostage gets shot, each cop responding should be fined and the hostage be compensated and the cops suspended
Problem with that is not every cop responding has control in what happens, if a new Dep says something it might be overlooked
