My personal view of audio gears price category;
$0-100 = BUDGET-FI
$100-500 = MID-FI
$500-1000= HIGH-FI
$1000 - $2000 = SUMMIT-FI
$2000 & Beyond = STRATOS-FI

Kudos for the review! How was your experience for the power? I get it that its not possible to measure it (for most of us), but did it sound like it had that kinda power on tap? Just curious, especially due the Diablo incident..

As @Mastermnd1 has said, after the recent fiasco with that Diablo II, one is not inspired to look at iFi unfortunately. You don't want to have that kind of drama when spending your hard earned money. Thank for the review.

I've personally never heard the Zen Dac v2 but if comparing it with the Zen Air Stack, it's definitely got a bit more power and a lot more features and the Xbass features sounded a lot more controlled but of course you're paying a lot more than a Zen Stack.
