Did ypu prime it then painted it. Also did you use a finish
I usually have 2 1/4 x4x8 sheets of plywood already primed and ready to cut for end panels and toekicks. I glue them and if they need to put some glaze on where the panels meet the frames. But I have put them up already painted.
