I like the mini games! Some of them are relaxing. Some of them are fast paste. Some are balance. I wish they had more mini games. It allow me to choose my mood! 😅
I'm pretty sure Rebirth is coming to the PC soon, maybe even after this month. Thought it only had a 3-month exclusivity deal with Sony. Maybe I'm misremembering though
They should not have tied party level to minigames I'm okay with them giving out some little accessories for beating minigames but to tie the progress when there's like a million endgame fights what's a bad idea in my opinion of course maybe I'll come around
Hey you missed the Workout minigames, cactuar crush, chocobo gliding and the box breaking one... Probably because they all suck. I also didn't enjoy 3d brawler because so many of the animations of the high level fights have identical animations. The middle manager fight is ridiculous. Also, the rank 3 workout against Jules is the worst thing I've done in a video game in years, maybe since Remake's? So much good, but also so much awful stuff too. Rebirth has some great stuff, but too much bloat.
The Best Minigame from FF7 Rebirth isn't even on this List....shame on you. What about that Piano-Minigame?! 😡 Highly addictive, hard to master, but sounds sooo good when you're able to perform them perfectly! To not include that Minigame is a major Insult to those Developers! 😒
for people who complaint about FF7 Rebirth minigame. mini game is MOSTLY OPTIONAL. story pacing is good when you try to do linear. at most you will only find 1 or 2 tower in each region, wont find sanctuary, wont find major minigame which is locked behind protorelic. even catching chocobo isnt mandatory it only required for region 1 as tutorial. and in chapter 8 if you choose to go to skywheel first you will skip all minigame in gold saucer. i choose to play mostly linear at 1st playthrough only interact with side content if i feel it. really good journey, never once the game burn me out. skip corel desert, gongaga, and almost all cosmo canyon at first playthrough, and progress for each region not even close to 50%. really good game as long as you didnt have OCD things - trying to complete it all in first playthrough. fyi, this game replayability is really good, thats why no need to try hard on 1st playthrough. the real playthrough (if you want challenge, like sekiro or elden ring). happen in 3rd playthrough. 2nd playhtrough/hard mode is only preparation to tackle 3rd/4th playthrough. 3rd playthrough is game with seamless battle/shortcut only mode, full realtime battle like proper ActionRPG. 4th playthrough is to game with no damage at all
Mostly optional? If you want the gear locked behind them its MANDETORY. All the bullshit minigames you have to do to get the dark matter and so on, in addition to alot of strong gear locked behind doing situps and other bullshit. It felt like a job playing this game. Every 30 minutes i have to stop playing and sit at a piano to get some gear i want. Remake felt alot better than this moosh of a minigame disaster.
@@Pooltergeist1 its optional. the game can be finish without darkmatter. or every strong gear. your argument is flaw, its similiar to say to us casuals as hard mode is mandatory because gotterdammerung is locked behind Rulers of the Outer Worlds

Good point. I think they put Run Wild in to say sorry to Red for letting players kick the ball at him lol
Final Fantasy is one of my favorite game series!
I hate the brawler minigame, i liked fort condor in intermission but found it ridiculously hard in this one.
The only mini game I actually enjoyed was Queens Blood. Hated Fort Condor. lol

Most of the mini games are pure class. Rebirth is a legit 10 out of 10 imo.

Chocobo Gilding and Moggle Mischief are hands down the worst! I also hated Run Wild! Chocobo Racing and Queens Blood are the best 2.

Piano minigames are awful. I stopped after getting A rank on all 6. I am not even trying let the battle begin and one winged angel.
Haven't played this yet, I still need to play FF7 remake
