I studied in State board all through out my life. But here I am, got degree from a good college and doing a nice job.
Education always mattered but as Baby said, what matters is the upbringing of a child. I have seen state board students’ shine and CBSE, IB students’ shine as well. It all depends upon the (technical and non technical) skills a person cultivates for the first 2 decades of his life that would ultimately help him/her to successfully survive the rest decades of the life.

ICSE took the initiative to conduct the 2022 year end exams for class 10 and 12 using the term system. This system however was forced upon us.. and we had no choice. We as students and parents wonder.. What exactly was the point of doing this? That too MONTHS after CBSE announced it... However, we went along with it, hoping for the best. In this announcement ICSE specifically stated the first term exams would be ONLINE + MCQ. This is a safer way of conducting exams which has been adopted my hundreds of universities and schools around the world.
This was an amazing move made by CICSE as it, for once, took students health (mental and physical) into the equation. With lakhs of students giving the exam, if given in person, the likelihood of covid-19 infecting the future generation were very high, considering many students have health problems and the infection of covid varies from person to person.
Unfortunately, a mere 25 days before the actual exams were to commence, i.e 15th November 2021 - Mid december 2021, the CICSE board released a statement saying that the exams are postponed until further notice.
This is not done. The emotional stress CICSE have put its students through since 2020 is astonishing. This batch of students are being treated as test subjects.. Lab rats. They're not seen as people, children, with normal mentalities.. With feelings, with PAIN.. They're seen as numbers, as marks, as nothing but a nuisance it seems.
Taking the exams offline (CBSE and CICSE) is a huge mistake. If you need more time to correct the online examination program, please do so.. But risking students lives is absolutely not worth it.
Students, parents and people around the country, PLEASE sign this petition, not only for protecting our students, but protecting our country.. We cannot afford to lose our close ones to covid.
If the exams of lakhs of students take place offline for CICSE and CBSE, many students will be harmed.. and they may even die. This will place fault on the education boards of the country who do not care about the students.
CICSE and CBSE, you cannot prevent covid from happening, especially since it is in the air. Covid kits wont do anything.
Students are unvaccinated.
Will you take responsibility if an innocent student dies just for marks?
