She substituted a lot of the chords in the original song for more interesting and jazzier options, and it is frankly a superior composition from the original. I would say this is even better than a cover--it's almost a new composition based on an original, and acoustic jazz remix if you will. I would love to the hear this recorded in high quality, with the voice and guitar properly mixed. Stunning.

I have never heard this song but I will say that her strumming and timing capabilities not to mention, she was p laying the slap funk bass on top of everything else. This gal is my hero. I am downloading this and making it a priority to learn this song. In her style. There covers that sometimes work out better than the originals... this is one of them.
