Do they ever mention why they put the hemp string in the pot with the securing wire? The only thing I can think is that the small pots run out of water VERY fast, and that maybe they can help to keep water available? Or so they can wick water up into the small pot? Anyone have anymore insight maybe as to why its done?

植物の根に水分を追加するための糸？ 私は正しく理解していますか？ これらの小さな植物にどのくらいの頻度で水をやりますか？
こんちは。
私の意図を正しく理解されてると思います。
卵パックは水を貯めれるようになってるので、そこからヒモで水分を追加もしくは、水はけを良くなるのではと思ってます。
腰水のように育ててるので、水やりは朝、一度行い。夕方に乾いてるようなら、追加で水やりをします。
土が乾かないような日(長雨、曇り)には卵パックの水を抜いてます。

土は赤玉土と川砂ですか？
植え替えの周期は、普通サイズの盆栽と同じように樹種によるかもしれません。私も経験が浅いので、手探りでやっている最中ですが…雑木は毎年、植え替えるようにしています。使っている用土は青木ブレンド【雑木用】（微細粒)が最近は使い勝手よく豆盆栽の用土として使うときがあります。
