    This dude is the best at teaching tricking. Gonna keep my fingers crossed for sailor moon to kick the moon. Nobody has done that yet (as a tutorial) but i feel like this is the only guy that could teach it from an easy progression of like tornado kick and Arial or something

    I’ve done a flash kick or two back in the day (or dozens lol), but yours is the most extended and stretched out that I’ve seen on here on TH-cam 👍. Beautiful!

      Nah as long as you have a solid aerial you can learn it this way! Gainer would help though of course

      follow his advice, most trickers spin to the left, this will make your life a lot easier

      @@anmax I spin to the left too... but any ideas why most trickers go left?

    • @anmax
      @anmax 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RandomVideos4U I'm not sure why, but you have to punch with the right arm to generate twist, and most people are right hand dominant

    Hey kojo, what's the difference between cheat gainer and flash kick? 😃

    • @sujithkrishna9267
      @sujithkrishna9267 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      In gainer u swing(kick) one leg and jump off the other, in flash kick u jump off using both legs & kick down😁

    I would recommend that, towards the end of step 2, try some with your eyes closed, to get used to not seeing everything

    Has anyone got any tips for doing this move from more advanced setups such as a Btwist or full? I find after I do the Btwist I just stop and feel no momentum to go into the flash kick.
    Aside from just repetition are there any hacks to make it easier on my mind?

      hey, dude, idk if it's still relevant, but I found that a lot depends on how you approach your b-twist. I learned it from bottom up at first (starting literally from slowly doing a weird twist on the floor), and that gave me a really low b-twist that usually landed painfully into a squat position. then I re-learned it from up down, and it was fine. make sure that you can do a comfortable slanted 540 jump out of your preferred b-twist setup (for me it's a pivot, or momentum step), and if you get that right, it will already feel a lot like a b-twist (what with landing on one foot and continuing with your momentum). the important part is to leave the ground when you chest is going up and around, not down and around (that will result in messing up the move and, usually, falling over). I found that the so-called 'ground spin' helps (stole this one from Mastering Tricking vids) - that's when you stand with your kicking leg behind you and the knee of your jumping leg bent, then you push with your jumping leg, twist with your arms, and pivot on your kicking leg, resulting in a slanted spin, then catch yourself on your jumping leg without leaving the ground at all. it's a safe and easy move, and doing it for maybe 20-30 reps before you actually start jumping is a good way to progress.
