Love to see you work my friend. I don't think you appreciate your own versatility, constantly bobbing and weaving to keep pushing forward. Great job as always. Thank you!
Great vlog. I feel like you have hot your stride with these vlogs. I also agree about the reacker talk. Don't sell to them if they offer too low. I went to a show this weekend and the vultures...I mean repackers were everywhere. I intentionally derailed a deal by paying double for a Larry Bird Auto that a repacker wanted. Afterwards I talked to the dealer and he was setting up for the 1st time and didn't really know what he was doing.
Some of them certainly can smell blood in the water, metaphorically speaking. You are right though, they are everywhere and will likely be everywhere at this upcoming show for me. It's time for to stand a little firmer on these cards. Let's see how it goes!
Nice pickups and footage. I know constant sales and moving and restocking inventory is good, but I think you buy smart enough that you can hold out a little longer for a better price without being stuck with anything for too long. Interested to see how the new strategy goes. Good luck at the Monster!
I wanted to have a "buying station" since my best opportunities to buy at shows is people walking up to my table. At the same time, I don't want them putting their pelican cases on my showcases. Right now, I have several buyers for certain cards I'd put in my value boxes. I have a guy who will take base rookies, another for inserts, another for serial numbered, another for low end autos/GU, and another parallels. They buy at around what I'd offer to someone coming up to my table buying in bulk. Then anything that's a couple of bucks goes to COMC.
Can someone help me out with this re-packer term I hear? New to the hobby and don’t really get what that is referring to or what these people stand to gain paying 110% of comps
Great video! The percentage game and constantly seeking cards to resell seems exhausting.
It is to some extent. The problem really comes when you're set up.

For sure, I have more confidence in trusting my gut. Doesn't mean I'll be stingy on everything, but my best cards need to command the premium price.
Great deal on that Murray 😁
Hey thanks! ;)

You mentioned recently that you stopped taking your value box to shows. What led to that decision? It appears you tend to have room on your table.

I did a video about a month or so back that goes in depth on the topic if you'd like to know more.
Nice video!
Thanks!
