- Here is a realistic crash compilation on F1 2020 which features all the crashes & spins from the 2020 British GP

True, nailed the 360 spin
small crashes it work quite nicely but with big ones you can see how glitchy the damage model and physics are... great example is that maggots corner crash.
True, codemasters'already had a pretty good damage model in pre-2015 games, I thought it has something to do with the sponsors or something, but I feel like that's not it..

@@baconbear48 Why though surely if your a sponsor you want more people to see your name of the brand and having a better damage model would get more players in
@@harry.bethwaite Crashes can distort sponsors on cars until they are unreadable. That's not great for promotion in their eyes, unfortunately

When we look back at this season it will be hard to beat that last lap at the moment of the year.
This video again just shows that Codies really and i mean REALLY need to improve the damage model in the F1 games.
I mean like come on, you have that Kviiat crash and the front wheel and Wing like barely come off.
The problem is not Codemasters, it's the teams and their sponsors that don't want to see their car totaled.

@@palasthazhorif8676 yes, that's the case in all racing games. That's why the game with the most realistic damage model on the market (Beamngdrive) has fictional car brands. I doubt Mercedes would like to see their precious W11 destroyed in a Multiplayer race.
@@elvitu8038 it has nothing to do with car brands not wanting to get their cars broken, biggest load of shit I've ever read in my life. Look at Iracing, that has real cars and sponsors e.c.t and I've absolutely totaled my car in that game a few times even more than this mod. Get your facts right before u start spreading stuff. its just Codemasters and a mix between the games engine not allowing full-on damage physics, They've even explained this in earlier games that they are limited to what they have but they improve slightly year by year.

They actually do, I was racing on Spa the other day and Ricciardo tried to overtake me on the straight and he lost it. Went into the barrier and safety car came out hehe

Do you have a damage mod or anything for the crashes and punctures to look like that? I spin and bump into a wall and my car’s still fine to drive.
