    This is a game-changing combination and you guys should definitely try as I tested it in multiple scenarios. This goes well with NR6 HAL as the battlefield will be dynamic and the AI will act accordingly like shown in this video.

    The mod looks really good: I look forward to using it with my friends. Is there any chance that there will be modifications on how ai behave in a more urban setting in future?
    EDIT: Also what advantages or features does this mod have over other ai mods such as lambs and vcom; since they're a very good combination.
    Another suggestion I have is if you can add the ability for ai to use enhanced movement or other popular movement mods to reposition themselves or for the ai to gain a vantage point that in normal arma you may not be able to do.
    Another thing I'd like to see, is ai in air assets to be more engaging. I'm not sure if thats just be unable to register that the ai in air are balanced but I feel as if ai in fixed wing aircraft are lacking.
    Finally, does this mod do anything with ace medical? I hate to see the ai not healing each other when they can or if they start healing in the open or in situations where it wouldn't make sense to med yourself.
    As you can read, I am a big sucker for urban and aireal combat.
    I hope your mod does will during it's development cycles and I wish you the best of luck with your project. Keep up the great work.

      I don't want to downtalk Vcom, but I haven't seen any updates on it - and it doesn't allow any customisation as far as I can see, so you've kind of stuck with a "one size fits all" type of mod: More over there are a lot of features in Vcom that makes it very CPU costly as well as making the AI move much less tactical compared to f.example TCL.
      I did a VCOM comparison too - that I was thinking to add to this comparison series, but it performed so amazingly bad that I didn't even bother TBH.
      We (Dragon company) are currently designing our own AI mod which willl pretty much replace all the existing AI mods - that also allows full customisation or just plug and play if you want an easy life.
      Vehicle:FSM was our "testing the water" project that developed some of the core features we are going to use for our future AI mods.

    3:52 thats the problem i face with all these AI boost mods, "1 get in that vehicle!" on repeat until vehicle is destroyed. Anyone know how to solve it ?

      It's not a mod - it's a combinations of mods that are hard-tweaked to a point that they work together.

    Looks and sounds awesome, however. If Zeus places a Move mark for a squad, do they run towards it, or do they still run everywhere but that marker?

      Depends on how you set it up.
      If you want zeus control you don't use HAL and make sure to Disable TCL and Vehicle FSM etc for curators.
      I never use zeus as I want the AI to be unpredictable - and I hate the fact that someone is baby sitting and tailoring enemy movements from a birds eye.
      Doesn't matter how well he does it - as I know the person has 100% intel and the only reason we're not killed is because the curator shows mercy XD
      That said: We are making a new AI command system now that will make human like decisions through all levels of command.
      There will be no need for curating or mission editing except for cosmetics or correcting of ARMA AI retardedness

    Do you know what sort of Persistent missions this may work on?
    Liberation, Direct Action, ALiVE, Vindicta, Supremacy... etc.
    Or at least which modules may work with it...

      I am using it on Liberation and vindicta. But you have to tweak it a bit.
      Join our discord if you want me to help you out. Unless you want to figure it yourself, which took me about 2 years XD
      TCL isn't without flaws though. We are working to create a new mod that will replace it as noone has successfully fixed the bugs in it.
      But it does work in MP with some errors that doesn't break the game, but its slightly annoying.

    Does / Will this have skill rebalancing like VCOM and ASR? I feel that feature is necessary to use with ACE, which is why I moved away from GL5 / TCL / GLX.

      We use CF_BAI. TCL has skill balancing as well, but CF_BAI overrides it.
      We also no longer use LAMBS - because Soldier FSM is pretty much replacing it and soon we've made Squad.FSM which will replace TCL all together.
      There is however no replacement for CF_BAI - and ARMA AI sucks without it - even with DCO Chain Of Command mods.

      Run it from the mission file.
      Recommend using DCO edition that has some bug fixes and works well with Soldier FSM (if you use it)

      You can join our discord to download the latest mod and mission presets.
      Once you've downloaded the mission you can get the TCL setting and CBA settings from the mission and transfer them to your mission.
      Keep in mind it requires some fine adjustments for different missions types.
      Especially if you are heavily zeus'ing your OP's.

      They are working perfectly together if you use our tweak.
      Some error will show if you test it in SP, but if you run on a local server it wont show.
      There will be hotfixes coming for TCL in the future.
      And even further up we are making our own AI that will do everything TCL does.

      It's not a mod. It's a combinations of mods that are heavily tweaked and added minor changes to the scripts to work in unison.

    Any mod to prevent vehicles crashing? Each time i order to tanks or vehicles to go somewhere, half of them get stuck and tanks flip over, i dont even know how they manage to do that

      The vehicle AI pathfinding is terrible.
      We might be creating a mod for it at a later stage where Vehicles will prefer roads and avoid pathfinding where it can get stuck.
      Idk what maps you are running your Vehicle.FSM on - but I would recommend using standard maps, unless you want the vehicles to get stuck at pretty much anything XD
      Also vehicles will almost guaranteed get stuck on objects you place in EDEN. Havent investigated enough into this, but it looks like it's consistent on all maps.
      So yeah. Thats what I got.

      Vanilla AI will be nothing near this. You should watch some of the other vids where I do comparisons.
      I think I made one for vanilla too. Im not even going to bother mentioning all the features that our AI combo adds.
      And keep in mind this video a good while ago- We've made two new AI mods since that time.

      @@dragoncompanyARMA well, congrats on that. Personally I find vanilla AI on the highest skill and precision settings to be quiet impressive. Not only they have incredible reaction time but also use many tactics like flanking and calling reinforcements to flush me out. And in the SOG DLC I even find them using suppressive fire immensely. TBH I think vanilla arma 3 AI is a lot better than any other game.

      You mean WHY?
      Some settings makes it lower. It's an Arma 2 map so I guess that is some of the reason.
      But yean - If I am going to run a dedicated server, run hundreds of AI and DCO AI preset, while filming on this old computer, It needs to be low.
      Aaand I don't care that much about graphics anyway - as long as FPS is high.

      This is not only TCL :)
      It's a combo of TCL, Danger.FSM and CF_BAI.
      TCL in it self is providing some tactical advantages to the squads in terms of improved use of cover, push-hold-flank, info sharing between squads as well as calling support based on morale etc.
      Unfortunately TCL is no longer updated, but we (Dragon company) have hired coders to create a similar mod that will add the above and more.
      But until DCO super AI is complete we will continue using the above mod combo.
      Ah - and keep in mind.. If you just run these mods without really understanding what you are tweaking it will take an insane amount of testing to get a good balance.
      If you want to test it for yourself - I recommend you download our Demo mission on discord linked in the video description above.

      @@dragoncompanyARMA appreciate the reply. Will dco be on steam? I’m not sure if I’m gonna download tcl since it isn’t on the steam workshop, or at least not be the creator himself. I would love to have an immersive single-player AI experience on Arma, but I just don’t get that yet.

      No way you can get the AI I've showcased in these videos if you don't want to use TCL...
      There is a new update for TCL now (hotfix)

      You have basically 3 options:
      1. EASIEST: You wait until or contribute with developing DCO super AI (First module is done 1st Feb 2022)
      1. EASY: You join our discord, get our mod and mission presets and copy them to your own mission folder/CBA settings.
      2. HARD: You download mods and come up with your own combination (It took us >3 years to finetune our settings)
      3. VERY HARD: You try to get a good experience without TCL or CF_BAI.

      TCL downsides:
      - Original author is no longer updating it (However there are scripters that are hot fixing it)
      - It is rather cumbersome to tweak parameters (However DCO have explained each parameter well in their custom mission version)
      - TCL stand alone sometimes switches combat behaviour that makes units spread out instead of keeping cohesion (This is fixed with danger.FSM)
      - TCL allows SL's to call reinforcements, thus sometimes WP*s are being ignored. (You can fix this by writing TCL_DIsable in the text field of a trigger linked to the Squad)

      DCO_CORE is not on steam - cause all of the mods are unfortunately taken off Steam workshop and they've disallowed public sharing of them.
      You can however distribute them outside steam or distribute them privately /friends.
      If you want it you can join our Discord and add me to steam and get access to the mods.
      Also our mod and mission/addon presets are heavily tweaked so I recommend you to test our system before starting to tweak it yourself.

    Will AI automatically mount an available vehicle to fight enemy? I’m trying to make TDM with vehicles available on the map with ASR ai3 loaded but AIs won’t enter any vehicle I provided. i will to try this combination if it make AI enter vehicle on their own.

      AI will enter vehicles yes - but there are sometimes bugs that make them jump in and out in an endless loop.
      THis will be fixed in the future hopefully. But yeah - they will get in and drive to reinforce the frontline most of the times.

      Search for the mods on the steam workshop.
      However there is a better mod made called Soldier FSM. I'd go for that instead :)

      It can be many reasons.
      The default setting for a unit to seek cover is 4 bullets within 1 second.
      You might want to adjust that down then.

    Doesn't TCL make things really fucky though?
    I've ran into issues with helicopter crew men just kept disembarking at the start of missions or when there's danger... Not following waypoints correctly... And overall just lagging the shit out of the game. Also getting random squad members (sometimes without guns?) from other AI groups that took losses. Lol.
    Definitely not good for single player use unless you're zeusing in MP for it.
    Lambs is #1 though. Sadly CF_BAI ceased to exist on workshop and forums for some unknown reason.

      First of all if you want it to run smoothly I recommend using DCO tweak as we spent 3 years tweaking the s***t out of these mods.
      As for TCL there are some issues, yeah.
      Can't tell if the disembarking is caused by Danger.FSM or TCL tbh however there is a new hotfix for TCL that fixes and will fix some of the issues in the future, so make sure to get that one (If you don't want to DL DCO presets)
      Not following waypoints happens if you don't init squads with the correct parameters in EDEN.
      Also you can set the chance for units to initiate combat with in ALERT or COMBAT behaviour.
      Default is COMBAT which will make squads move careful and slowly.
      Also you can init a squad with this setcombatmode "YELLOW" for more defensive behaviour and "RED" for more aggressive behaviour.
      There is a ton of other tricks to make TCL work better. Just join our discord community where we constantly test and tweak.

      Lambs Danger:FSM doesn't do what TCL does at all. They are complementary and not conflicting.
      TCL adds tactical behaviour linke push/hold/flank and calls for support based on morale, makes reinforce depleted squads and so on.
      Danger.FSM mainly works on immediate behaviour such as reacting to gunshots, taking cover, evading, knowledge sharing and suppression.
      CF_BAI doesn't exist on workshop , but you can freely share it outside of the workshop.
      This is a masterpiece.. If you tweak it correctly it's such a gamechanger in so many ways I won't even start explaining it here

      Yeah it was quite good. Demo might not be, but you (and most ARMA players) would get their asses whooped.
      Not because AI is cheating and shooting through grass and trees or using aimbot accuracy, but because you get suppressed and flanked.
      And that considered that this AI combo is from 2021 - and we've developed it quite a bit since then :)
      When we've got Soldier.FSM 0.2 and Squad .FSM 0.1 - It will already be pretty much impossible to turkeyshoot AI like most units seem to do today.
