I know this video is a bit late, but I am confident that Viper is still a strong agent. She's going to be meta on Icebox, Bind, and Breeze for sure, and I think you guys can use all of this tech to farm in your ranked games!

yea if u use harbor+viper on breeze its broken still lol. Harbor and Viper might be trash themselves but they are insanely good when used together.

The nerfs make sense for pro play but for the majority of ranked players playing viper as a solo smoker just aint viable anymore
Viper is just better than harbor in almost any situation. Her kit is too great at stalling against attackers with only kay/o as counterplay. Solo defending a site reliably way more than any agent can do. Post plant viper with pickup-able poison smoke and molly line ups is just unfair.

@@maximum5829 Rather than bad its tricky too use. "Braindead" agents are easier to use and win in ranked such as jett and raze. Viper just lays the walls down in the exact same spot in every map(changes sometime based if they watch pro play etc) and stalling sites too easily.
Harbor is quite technical and high level to use which fps players are not too good at. People just don't realize how powerful smokes are so harbor players are limited

Orbs ults, mollies and even wall lineups have to be known for eaxh map, for each situation (eco, anti eco, bonus...)
@@maximum5829 yeah you sure work hard remembering the lineups that you do everytime each round. Sure needs a lot of skill remembering something that others find lineups and ways to make it easier for you to do in game.
Viper is A- or B+ Tier now. A single molly means u cant use one normally to stall if u want to play lineups. U can no longer move her poison cloud except for in buy phases. She's basically a sentinel with a line smoke now and has to be played in dual controller setups to be fantastic
Love how they completely ruined her fun playstyle and still didnt fix the reason why she's broken.
@@NovaaTheGreat bro Ik she is still good she is just less fun now cause the pit is harder to rat with the smoke is harder to rat with, it is impossible to do crazy peek with the orb now and the fun line up cringe moments are gonan be gone now😢
@@NovaaTheGreat Ikr, what's the point of this nerf if the main problem isn't solved but now you made her a chore to play. And now that breeze is getting out of map rotation and possibly icebox, She will prob drop even harder to a b tier.
@@XenithAxe exactly. She's still a must pick on icebox and breeze so they haven't fixed her problems at all. They just removed the fun part of her kit which is lineups, and made her miserable to play.

Teets noooo! I understand how her strengths are really exaggerated in pro play because she benefits from slow play but she does not deserve these nerfs in ranked! She has mediocre winrates in comp already and make her more and more terrible for SoloQ.

From ults to Molly line ups I do wonder how much time do these people have to find out all theses broken ults, walls and Molly lineups
It's literally their job to find that stuff and memorize it
it's not really that hard
it's mostly trial and error

what happens when you ult this way is there's a small pocket behind the small boxes behind door where you can stand at
if you aim at the closest bricks outline the Molly will land at default

Honestly I think riot is nerfing her in the wrong way. Especially with the nerf of re picking up her smokes. She already can't do so with her wall
I don’t think the smoke pickup was balanced as it was, but it probably would have been better for them to just put the orb on a cooldown before it becomes available to throw again, as opposed to just removing the pickup
