To help with the excess powder hold the brush in one hand and tap your wrists together in an x over each other. This will make the excess powder fly off the brush and makes the application less dusty.

Apply the concealer and let it sit on your skin for a couple of minutes before you try to blend it out, use a brush and gently tap out the concealer (don’t rub or buff it in). Pat the powder on with a fluffy brush, just be gentle and don’t press too hard or rub the brush into your face and the concealer should be fine
