I have played almost every space ship shooter since Gradius in the arcades. None of them have ever come close to this exact moment in Thunder Force V, when you're no longer bound by the restrictions of frailty or limitations on your super attacks. It makes you want to crash your godlike warship straight into the enemy cockpits while furiously puking out an endless barrage of vengeance.
