Lauren, you do exactly what I do --- make a list and then cross out one job at a time as it's completed. Or in your case, take one job down at a time. I love seeing the jobs disappear from your "job board". And.....your first mate MAKO always makes the work a bit easier.

You are an amazing young lady ❤️. Remember to stay hydrated. And Soul De La Mar is looking good. You need to look into a APU. You can run it on 1 gal of fuel in 8 hours and run your inverter to run everything, plus keep your batteries charged. I know you have solar, but that would be a good backup. Probably talk to much, but trying to help.
Another awesome video. Have you tried brushing white vinegar on your teak, then washing it off with fresh water? Repeat twice and you may see amazing results! You will be back home in the Bahamas in no time. Much love ❤

I enjoy every episode. But I must have missed it. Did you get your anchor windlass fixed. I was kinda worried you would hurt your back doing that. I only had a six foot chain and anchor line on mine when i had it and it was tough for me. I must be a sissy. That anchor chain and anchor of your must be really heavy.

I know there's a great deal of maintenance involved in keeping a boat like that afloat and in working order. Nonetheless it's fascinating to me how you keep up with all of it and get it done. How frequent do you have to clean and paint the bottom?
Weight abviously depends on size! Life span of a sail is 1 to 30 years or more. It all depends on amount of use, maintenance and climate. The subtropics, and tropics are very hard on sails and equipment. An older friend of mine is still using 40 year old sails in Maine. If you are sailing hard, you could trash your sails in as little as a year or two. Sails are VERY expensive to replace. They cost more than a new engine. I hope this answers your question!
