    It's a beta, I trust gryphline to sort it out but idk maybe im in the minority... do you think its bad from a design point of view??

      Nah, it received a lot of criticism even in CN.
      I heard that hg isn't satisfied either.

      Endfield endgame will be a boss fight in a poison swamp couple it with puzzles like safe spots like those in FF mmo 🤣 Just like what OG AK End games are built like.

      Wish they change it to annihilation for us to grind gacha and weapon currency and rougelike as a endgame mode
      I'm definitely excited on what messed up stuff they can come up to make us suffer

      @@sw4gsmile595 Yeah, seems like a lot of players don't want roguelike as weekly. What's fun before will feel like a chore, kinda what happened in hsr (at least for me).

      The roguelike in OG AK is called Integrated Strategies (IS), instead of something to farm weekly like what HSR is doing, it's an optional hardcore game mode with only one-time rewards that's meant to be a trial-by-death experience (like real roguelikes) and not suitable for early to mid level players, you will die and fail a LOT
      Knowing what HG is capable of, I'd say there's no way they'll keep Algorithmic Memories as it currently is, especially considering the massive backlash in CN and how much they worship IS, they consider it a legitimate endgame and worth investing units for

    The """roguelike""" is so clearly in a concept stage I don't even think about it much lmao
    Like cmon, it's a beta
    There is no real endgame content

      100% agree, I do feel like even as a concept though it feels super flat but it’s probably the sneakiest of peeks into what they’re actually gonna do so we’ll just wait and see🤷‍♂️

      @@MaximGacha weirdly enough, the fact the mode is so incredibly half baked as it is actually makes me less worried
      because there is no way the devs that have THREE different permanent roguelike iterations in original Arknights is gonna leave it anywhere close to what it is now
      right now its at like 5% of its concept

      ​@@MaximGachaconsidering they have the best rogue-like mode in Gacha games in OG Arknights, I'm worried exactly zero, nada. And usually the rogue-like modes they do also reveal massive lore, so this ain't over!!!

      the pull of all the IS is how replayable it is, it's super hard to translate in a 3D space tbh but I'm going to trust that they'll find a way to do it.

    That "rougelike" mode called "Algorithm Memories" is like farmable gacha currency like spiral abyss BUT it is NOT the end game mode. Too early for endgame content for a beta test. I wanted to show the actual endgame HG usually made, but I have no faith for non-AK player will understand that sadly since the systems is rather "unique" unlike other 3D gacha games ever exist until now

    Basically in OG Arknights we called integrated strategist for short word its IS where doctor journey and reach certain secret endings for this case well you enter room you wanted and full of dungeons

    I doubt this gonna be the true roguelike nor endgame mode in Endfield but knowing HG they'll definitely cook.

    this just my stupid idea about this mode,
    I like the platformer part but probably better to collecting some kind currency instead buff that can be traded to certain npc for buff or item for open secret area etc,
    change the mob stage to random npc scatter around the area that can give random buff, debuff, or fight that npc,
    and maybe give story theme to it

    Fron what i've seen this is a farming game mode, so it wuld be closer to the SSS game mode in AK, a place you farm periodicaly to get itens to make the characters stronger (SSS = modules / AM = weapon rolls) so its not realy how they usualy do endgame in AK. this mode fells a lot more like the devs testing things out wile keeping it simple and usefull, things like that have hapened in AK quite a lot, Integraded Strategies, SSS itself, Reclamation Algorithm, Design of Strife (got transformed into Vector Breakthrough) and so on, i personaly hated more than half of those on release but the latter versions improved so much some became my favorite game modes, so overal this doesnt realy wories me, but the feedback about the flaws shuld be talked about so they can work on making better versions.

    Even though its a beta I would still emphasize it in the feedback just to be on the safe side. Can never assume what the devs are thinking. The roguelike needs a lot of work to be fun and the concept shown is not it for sure. It will definitely get old pretty quickly. I also hope they expand on the tower defense mechanics and make that an endgame mode too

    Agree, but tbf judging from how
    - only 5 difficulties
    - no story(as opposed to IS where all had a concept/theme)
    - just 2 endings
    - no mechanics at all (currency/hope, light, dice, stage changes, floor debuffs etc.)
    its super bare bones and still in concept. My trust in hypergryph goes deep though, dont forget there was an IS1 before the rest.

    I have high hopes for what AK Endfield is gonna be, a little upset i basically wont be able to play it since its on everything but what i play on, but im looking forward to it, id love to see them expand more on the tower defense stuff and maybe have you use that as endgame content like defending your base your even have little missions akin to the original game where you place down a set amount of operators and additional towers in order to fend off waves of enemies while you play as a character too

    I thought you were clickbaiting with the title and i was gonna say "i didn't expect you to clickbait" but you didn't so you have my respect. Parkour can be fun if done better and giving options that effect the way you play needs to be added so it does feel like roguelike. For example wuwa roguelike mode "illusive realms" offers you different style of gameplay and each run can be different based on what you picked and how you enhanced your character. Tbf most of my runs looked the same because i was playing with jiyan and i loved having the dragon out 24/7 so i always played with those modifiers. Even sub dps' and supports felt like they are the main dps with the modifiers so i hope they change this and make it better. Also come back to me my lovely illusive realms 😢

    It's indeed bad. I want to like it, but i can't. While i find the traversal pretty entertaining, the buffs are just stat boost, it didn't change the way we play our characters. The fun of roguelike is that we can do stupid shit with ridiculous build / ultra optimized - almost broken build, unfortunately the game mode provides none of these.
    Fortunately, this is still a beta test. Knowing Hypergryph for years, i believe in their creativity to improve the game mode.

    I just think it's optional there'll be game's where sometimes they have a game mode some people might dislike but other's may love. if i don't like it I'll probably stay on my factory or find something else that'll entertain me more. however i kinda love this of course course I'd love for devs to improve it like a game like Warframe.

    Honestly still better than Star Rails where you just go in a straight line and is just a place to get artifacts also given how much Hypergryph improved Integraded Strategies over the years I wouldn't be surprised if they overhauled this in the future 😅

    Yeah, platforming around to collect orbs is straight up monotonous. It feels pretty dead. No mutators, risk factors, shops, artifact pickups or any other mechanics that makes roguelike, roguelike. I was hoping they'd somehow integrate the use of gun towers in the AM/Roguelike. But I'm almost a 100% sure that they'll include complexities and depth in the future just as they made the IS in arknights have depth in the mechanics. But I must say the Ambient/combat tracks in AM are some of the best tracks i've heard in endfield. It's like a mixture of Deus ex, Mass effect and synth vaporwave and I love it so much. And the level designs look pretty. (And yes I know it's still in beta as well.)

    I really like the platforming tho but i think it need a looooot of work. Like it will need a lot of ressources from HG to make it a good endgame content. It will be a first because ak didn't ad any endgame content for like 2 years so i don't think it will be perfect but pray in HG to make it really good in 3-6 months, same for the overall story

    Im glad that they at least have mind on what we could do in late game. Sure its basically as barebone as it get but its beta. Thats why they have survey for suggestions n improvements that can be made.

    I think the main problem about it is that it just feels very basic and boring.
    Unlike the other current rouge modes the buffs are uninteresting stat increases like +ATK +HP +SP instead of anything out there abd cool ala IS "If you get this relic and fulfill this condition you will have a Morbillion attack speed" or "You're completely immune to dmg from X enemy type"
    Stuff like that was interesting to play around *and* every IS had story attached to it aswell.

    Idk but the mode it looks like GOD OF WAR RAGNAROK VALHALLA. From you take away the buff even the dungeon design is almost similar.

    Whatever that is, Arknights Enfield is NOT like Genshin or Wuwa, AK Enfield is more like AAA or ARPG games, like Code Vein and Black Myth Wukong 🤩🤩
