Yes, she was definitely in love with the idea of him, the life he could provide her and the prospects of being a Viscountess. 😏 She didn't truly know him, in ep. 4 she called him even-tempered and Daphne was like "WHO, ANTHONY??" 😆😆

@@rebeccaogundipe5267did you not watch the first episode of this season? Kate literally explained why she didn’t wanna say anything because she knew that if Edwina was aware of the circumstances then she would only marry to please their family, and Kate felt that Edwina deserved more and better.
For factual references, please know that Anthony told Kate 'I burn for you' (for obvious reasons) and they decided to give that line to Simon. If you watch this Season, you can see why it was more appropriate for these two.

Am I the only one who really wishes red head girl was a lesbian in the series
I thought they might of gone that route with Eloise but nope 😒
Ugh, I cannot. This is when the season deviated so hard left from the book. After Kate's bee sting, the two of them got caught in the garden and that led to Kate and Anthony having to be married. It was so much better of a plot honestly. From here on out the angst was just too damn high for me. Like WHY? All this was just unnecessary, but hey I guess they needed a reason to stretch it out.
Given how much people love this season and the fact that the first season was basically a Forced Marriage trope, I don't know why you would want the second season to rehash the plot of Season 1, lol. I despise anything with a Forced Marriage Trope, it's weird and often ridiculous.
Season 2 is far better than Season 1, it has better actors, amazing chemistry between the Leads, good writing, a slow burn romance with two very stubborn, intelligent people trying in vain to pretend they are not in love and the constant mistakes Anthony and Kate make because they fall in love, brilliant.
