I left Nigeria 28 years ago, in other words, I have leaved half of my life outside Nigeria. I gave up my Nigerian citizenship to collect the citizenship of the country where I reside now. I renounced my Nigerian citizenship many years ago because I lost hope in Nigeria, but with the candidacy of Peter Obi and his running mate, I am beginning to feel like Nigeria might be better again.
God bless you my brother for speaking it frankly, you're not alone in such a quagmire of denying one's land through the change of nationality, I'm a diasporean Nigerian living in Germany, but going home has become a very hard decision bc of numerous years of economic decay, insecurity, engeandered by visionless, kleptomaniac and monolithic leaders in the country dt God blessed with every good thing, both mineral and human resources

The ONLY thing one can do is to MINIMIZE the level of corruption by first not being corrupt yourself.
