YEAY YOU'RE FINALLY BACK!! 🥳🥳 This episode really made me cry. Keith is my #8 fave char. He is basically the total opposite of Armin. Armin grew from being an insecure boy not having confidence in himself, to a genius strategist for the Scouts which honestly is the typical character's growth in any show. Meanwhile Keith 'grew' from being so confident and proud about himself to realizing that he was not the one to change the world. But even so, he swallowed his pride and ego, admitted defeat, gave the position to someone more capable of, yet still willing to continue fighting and contribute to the good of humanity to the best he could, that is as the training corps commandant. His character shows us that even if we're not special, even if we are just the average human being, we still mean something, we still can do something. Not being special doesn't mean you mean nothing. I really love how Keith's character is written 💙
Yeah, sorry for disappearing. Needed to take care of some things but I am back and will start uploading more frequently. I agree with the most part of your point, but I think Keith is actually very special
No worries, bro. Just upload at your own pace. I think what really matters is not about if you're special or not, it's about what you do and how you appreciate what you do. It's easy to appreciate what people do, but it's not that easy to appreciate yourself. Keith giving up his position as SC commander and decided to become commandant for training corps is a good example of it. Surely training corps commandant don't have as many spotlight as SC commander, not many visible achievements as what SC can achieve, but it still means a lot. SC (and other branches) won't have capable soldiers if it weren't for their training days in the training corps (let's exclude Levi here😂) So for Keith to admit his incapability and to understand what role is more fitting to him despite his ambition is what I mean by 'not being special but still can be something'
@@PJigggy That's why I said it's important that you also appreciate what you do in life.. AoT is full of beautiful characters, I just can't move on from them 😂
I love that people react to the ideology of Carla Jeager 25:16-25:50

Agree. This is a top 10 episode in my opinion. Also, fun fact: Like you, this was also Hajime Isayama's favorite episode
Well that's nice to hear that the author shares the same taste 🤣

@@kuacankit’s sad because he really did accomplish a lot in his life but, he still had that mindset about himself.
